Amazing. The rooms is really well presented with nice carpets and drapes, free snacks, tea and water, private bathroom ensuite. It's the room at the front of the hosts house, has a lock on the door don't worry, but this makes check in super easy late at night, e.g. after catching Petra by Night. Then you head down to Petra like 15min away the next morning and see it all. You will need your own car to get here, provided you have that anyway, it's the best value in town.

“Classic Jordanian Hospitality”

Mahmoud is a great host, very warm, friendly and hospitable. He helped us to plan our two days in Petra and called the taxi for us. He was available to cater to all of our needs - breakfast, dinner, hot tea, snacks. The bed was very comfortable, quiet area, good wi-fi. Great communication. We were taken care of like a part of the family.

The value for money is exceptional, the room is lovely with a separate entrance, and the dinner is just delicious. thank you again for such a great stay - and for finding a tailor to fix my backpack free of charge. Mahmoud is an amazing host! He waited for us with prepared dinner which was absolutely delicious! Breakfast and that Bedouin bread WAU! His hospitality and kindness made our stay very enjoyable.

Everything was so great. The host and his wife were very kind. The room was big and clean. We got a great breakfast, snacks and fruit. I would recomand Moon House to everybody!

“Most amazing accommodation and the best host!”

We have been travelling the world for a year and Moon House has been by far our favourite accommodation. Staying at Moon House is the closest we have felt to having a home in a long time. Mahmoud, his wife and three sons are the kindest, loveliest and most generous family. Firstly, the location is 6km or 10 minutes drive to the Petra entrance and we think this is the best location as it is so peaceful and quiet at the house, but close enough for guests to drive into town for restaurants or to visit Petra. Wadi Musa is rather loud and busy and each night we were so glad to come home to such a peaceful oasis. The room itself is beautiful, extremely clean with very nice furnishings and a very large and comfortable bed with new linen. The room and bathroom are both very large and the seperate sitting area is a great spot to sit and have a coffee. Where you will be staying has a completely seperate entrance so it feels very private. Mahmoud was so attentive to our every need he was amazing. Nothing was a problem and he would very often offer us tea, coffee, sweets, cakes and deserts. His generosity is endless and we could not be more grateful to have such an incredible host. The food his wife Fadia (apologies if that is misspelt!) makes is delicious and we felt very lucky to get the opportunity to try all of her cooking. We cannot fault our stay at Moon House as everything has been thought about by the hosts such as free parking, drinking water cooler in room, hairdryer, toiletries, steam iron, coffee and kettle, snacks and the list goes on. Don’t even bother looking for other accommodation. If you want a friendly, caring and authentic stay look no further and 100% book this. We stayed 3 nights and wish we could have stayed forever. Thank you so much Mahmoud and family especially for the birthday dinner you had for me and the beautiful gift.

“Super worthy”

The host was a great man. He waited for us till late evening to make the checkin and prepared wonderful traditional dinner. The room was very spacious, clean and with all the facilities you may need. He was very careful and wanted to make us happy every moment. The room is located in a very quiet area and is like 15 min from visitors center by car.

everything was perfect ! The House is very close to Petra and is perfect to enjoy It and the View is great. Mahmoud was very carefully, he really want our stay looks perfect, he is suce à Nice Man with awesome hospitality. The room is very clean, large and beautiful. The bed was large also and very confortable. We had dinner and breakfast two days In a row and It was so tasty. Mahmoud’s wife made us such a good food, we loved It and you will definitely love It!
