Staff were absolutely lovely! The room itself was much bigger than I expected and everything was lovely and clean. For the price, we really weren’t expecting it to be so good. 10/10 recommend!

My stay at this hotel was an amazing experience. The service was excellent, the staff including Mohammed were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hotel is close to the market and the main tourist attractions which made it easy to get around. The dining experience was a great addition and the prices are suitable for everyone.

“It is a great hotel, very perfect”

The hotel is very wonderful and it is close to the Petra Visitors Center, three minutes away by car. The room was well-established and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and there was hot water and air conditioning. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend it and thank them for their hospitality.

“A nice place, but I got unlucky”

Excluding the mishaps described below this was a great place. The owner did everything he could to make my stay comfortable and to fix the arising problems. The place is clean, there is a good water heater; the hotel is within walking distance to Petra and the bus station.

Photos don't do this guesthouse it's dues, our room with it's own bathroom was really nice, quaint but with everything you'd get in a larger hotel. Mohammad(the young solo star employee) stayed up and waited on our very late arrival. He also helped me figure out how to buy the jett bus ticket online back to amman, helped store our bags and gave some tips. In reception we noticed tours to wadi rum available for 40jd, if you're coming you may want to email the hotel about that tour etc Continental breakfast was arranged anytime we wanted it The room is very clean, lots of hot water, safe and central area. A taxi to petras gates is 2 dinar or walk downhill 20 minutes. Lovely cafe, restaurant, small supermarkets areas nearby we really liked the Yemen restaurant (Turn right outside the hotel, take the first turn left down the steep hill, then the second right turn, walk 30 seconds and it's on the left hand side, it's 200 meters from the hotel. Beside it and across the road are more cafes and restaurants. We also like the area across from the grand mosque with a fountain, cafes, supermarket it's steps from the hotel and felt very safe there. I've travelled as a solo tourist before I met my husband, if you're a solo female I think this hotel and staff are very safe.

Well located with plenty of parking close by. It is up a little hill on a side street so quiet at night. Petra Visitors’ Center is 5 minutes away by car and about 15-20 minutes away by foot, though you will have to climb the hill on the way back. Most of the restaurants are located less than 5 minutes away. The room was basic, but there was hot water and a fan. No air conditioning, but that wasn’t a problem in the room I occupied no. 6, who’s looking into a closed courtyard.

“Amazing stay!”

We had a very pleasant stay in Majido Hostel. The location is great, close to bars and restaurants, and it’s just a 5min drive from the Petra visitors centre. The rooms are spacious, as well as the toilet. Breakfast is very complete. We also had dinner at the hotel and it was very tasty, by the price of 8jod. The host, Mohamed, is very kind and welcoming! Thanks a lot for all your help, see you soon!!!

We stayed one night after the visit of Petra. The structure is very good located just 3 minutes by car or 20 minutes on foot from Petra site. The room was very comfortable and clean. Also the hospitality of Mohamed was great.

Clean and comfortable rooms. It’s actually a hostel and you”ll get bunk beds in rooms.Very close to Petra visitors centre so its very convenient.If you’re starting early for Petra, they’ll arrange breakfast in boxes which is convenient too.
