“Best place that we have ever stayed!”

It really was the best place we've ever stayed. Fantastic breakfast, the most comfy bed ever, amazing room, great bathroom, just really top level. Amazing host who looked after us so well.

> A very clean apartment with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was sufficient and delicious. There was also a new kitchen with a washing machine. The location is 3 km from Petra, but since I had a rental car, it wasn't a problem. I tested it and there was no UBER service available here. I would come again.

The rooms easily qualify for a 4-star-hotel: very new, very clean and very spacious. Try to get room 101 as the other two have rather cramped bathrooms. Free private parking right in front of the building and a supermarket just across the road.

I can't say enough wonderful things about my stay at this hostel – it was genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had while traveling! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The place is immaculately clean – every corner, common area, and room is spotless, which made a huge difference in how comfortable and relaxed I felt throughout my stay. The beds are incredibly cozy and the entire atmosphere of the hostel is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Whether you're unwinding in the lounge, making a meal in the well-equipped kitchen, or just enjoying a quiet moment in the common area, it feels like a space made with love and care. What truly made this stay stand out, though, was the staff and the owner. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure guests felt looked after, offering local tips, helping with bookings, and always greeting you with a smile. The owner, in particular, is such a kind and genuine person – you can tell they truly care about their guests and take pride in creating a great experience for everyone who walks through the door. Add to that the great location, good vibes from fellow travelers, and the perfect balance of social and quiet spaces – and you’ve got the kind of place you never want to leave. I’ll absolutely be back and will recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and heartwarming place to stay. A real home away from home! 💛

Homestay on a hillside, the room was very large and had the same facilities as a hotel. The landlord was very kind and gave me the room I wanted and drove me to the center of the city and did his best to accommodate my needs!

Everything was clean and modern. The room was big, the bed was large and super comfortable. We were the only guests when we arrived and we were offered to choose any room we liked. There is private parking in front of the house, and a supermarket just opposite the property. The host recommended a local restaurant - the food was simply delicious for reasonable price. This was our best accommodation in Jordan!

“True Jordanian hospitality from the kindest family”

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I had a problem with my hotel in Dana and Mr Ali allowed us to check in early without any charge. On the trip I became very sick and Mr Ali and his wife looked after me and even made me chicken soup for lunch. They allowed me to check out late so I could rest more and refused to take extra money for this. I have never met such kind people in my life and I am very thankful for their excellent hospitality. On the room - it is easily a 4/5 star hotel experience and I really think they should charge a higher price. Bathrobes, slippers, smart tv and access to a kitchen are provided. The bed is super comfortable and the room is spacious. There is a garden which you have access to which is an added bonus. Breakfast was 10/10 and traditional local food - the halwa was very good. Thank you Mr Ali and family for everything.

“Great value = new & very comfortable accommodation close to Petra with the best host!”

If you are planning to go to Petra, Fragrant Rose is the best place to stay. We were lucky to be ones of the first guests staying at the Fragrant Rose. It is very good value and a beautiful place to stay. We loved the location of the accommodation as it is very close to Petra. The accommodation is brand new, very well equipped with a common kitchen and an ensuite bathroom. It is a very cozy place with a nice comfortable bed. We have enjoyed the traditional Jordanian breakfast very much at Fragrant Rose. Apart from this incredible accommodation the best part were our hosts Mr. Ali and his wife. Mr. Ali gave us the best recommendations, helped us literally on every step of our journey. He knows everyone in Wadi Rum and will inform you where you can find the best offers and the best tours. We highly recommend the dinner at the bubble luxury hotel as well. Next to the bubble hotel is a traditional baduine tent where you can order typical desserts, some baduine tea and enjoy the traditional life music. Overall we had a wonderful stay filled with many adventures. Thanks to Mr. Ali we could experience the local life and the baduine culture first hand. Our hosts and accommodation were so amazing that we decided to extend our stay. We felt very welcomed and received help and advice for anything we needed. Mr. Ali has even arranged our transfer to Wadi Rum. We are very thankful for their help and couldn't imagine a better place to stay in Wadi Musa.
