“A wonderful, traditional house right on the beach”

Besides the large room (for 3 persons, with a wonderful view) we really loved the location (right on the beach!), the very pleasant onsen upstairs (with a view, too), and - most important - the friendly, courteous staff! It is a traditional house, and the Japanese breakfast (served in a beautiful room) was an absolute (and unexpected) highlight. The relaxed restaurant (5-10 min walk on the beach) was great, too. We really felt at home, Thank you so much!

I liked everything about the hotel; the price was cheaper for staying this close to the beach. I checked in late, but the staff was kind and showed me the parking places. The public bath and the sauna were an excellent addition. It was relaxing after the long bath. They also had a facility to wash off the sand after a walk from the beach.

Really like this hotel. It is right on the beach and they will let you use their car park and shower room after check out so you can still enjoy the beach and even take a shower to get the salt from a swim off you after you leave. Good views from the room, and liked the sento (hot bath) on the top floor where you can enjoy the view while taking a refreshing bath.

“Wonderful people and place”

Exceptional service in a beautiful place. The bathroom facilities at the top of the building were stunning and it was very well run. Spotlessly clean. A lovely seaside location. Gorgeous beach. And best of all were the people in the village and who run the hotel; they were wonderful to us. We really hope we can return!

Great location, right on the beach. We only stayed to break the journey between Fukui and Tottori but we had a lovely wander on the beach. Would love to come back in summer time.

The women onsen should have more protection as there was a man bathing while our ladies entered.

A very agreeable traditional accommodation in an excellent location, close to beautiful beaches and natural sceneries. The staff members are very hospitable and go out of their way to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The location was fantastic, right on the beach. The bath and sauna room looked over the beach as well. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was amazing value for money.

Location was excellent; we came in mid-October and had the entire beach to ourselves whilst the weather was still warm, it was a little surreal to have an entire town with restaurants and the beach open just for us; a hidden gem! Coming straight in from the sea to the hotel's warm sauna and baths was a real treat as well
