Overview
Right at the banks of the Strbske Pleso lake, the Hotel Solisko is situated in the High Tatras Mountains, 1351 metres above sea level. It has its own spa and fitness centre and a lakeside restaurant. Rooms are equipped with elegant, modern furniture, a flat-screen cable TV and a minibar. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire Solisko hotel. You have free access to the spa and fitness centre. Spa facilities include a hot tub, a sauna, a cold-water pool and various massages. There are also private rooms with spa baths. Traditional Tatra cuisine and specialities of the Italian cuisine are served in the lakeside restaurant. The cigar bar offers a wide selection of fines cognac and cigars and kids can have fun in the children's corner. The next lift of the Strbske Pleso Ski Area is 800 metres away. Numerous hiking and cycling paths can be found in the surroundings. Skis and bikes can be rented on site and you can also try paragliding, bungee jumping and many more activities nearby. Ski bus runs from the property free of charge.

Amazing hotel with great spa, enough space (never felt crowded), very good restaurant. Breakfast is indeed above average, and overall feel is more high-end than nearby hotels. Parking is only 10 euro per night.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. The spa area was excellent - a perfect place to relax after a day in the Tatras. We were also impressed by the breakfast, which was incredibly delicious and offered a great variety of choices.

“Amazing”
Lady at the reception was lovely, very welcoming and helpful and let us check in about 3h early. The room was clean, spacious, bed comfortable. Balcony was a nice addition. Perfect temperature, windows can be open to get some fresh air. Sone guests were a bit noisy but not for too long and other than that it was peaceful. Water pressure perfect hot water available. We also had food at the restaurant and it was fantastic. Bit pricier than in some restaurants in the town, but absolutely worth it as it was delicious. I had food allergies and lady serving us was extremely helpful and kitchen staff was accomodating. Location could not be better, amazing views of the lake, plenty seating outside and just so comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was also great, so much choice and everything was tasty. Also plenty parking spaces. The only thing I would say is that shower head was placed a bit low so had to hold it to have a shower. But no deal breaker. Will be coming back again!

“Beautifully located room, but with some flaws.”
The hotel’s undeniable advantage is its location and the window view of the lake – that’s absolutely top-notch. The hotel staff are also a big plus: very friendly and professional. The quality of room cleaning was excellent (no complaints at all). Another positive is the availability of parking.
