“A Warm and Relaxing Experience in the Mountains”

Our stay at Riverside Guesthouse in Vusanje was truly special. From the very first moment, we felt very welcome – a genuine hospitality that makes you feel right at home. The sauna was an experience on its own, especially after a day in the mountains – it completely relaxed us and we felt refreshed and ready for the next hike the following day. The rooms were comfortable and had central heating, which made a big difference during the cold days and made the stay even more enjoyable. The traditional food was very delicious – fresh, carefully prepared, and with that homemade taste that makes every bite enjoyable. Overall, it’s a place we would gladly return to without thinking twice. Highly recommended.

The family went above and beyond for us. Nothing was too much to ask. We were hiking and had an injury and they offered instantly to make a 2 hour trip to help us. They treated us as one of the family and looked after us. I can’t say enough good things about the family and the way they treated us. We were fussy eaters and they accommodated our eating needs and schedules without hesitation. Top class hosts

The lady who is the host here speaks impeccable English. The food was delicious! It's the only(?) place with sauna in Vusanje and the sauna is really nice, modern and clean and properly hot - perfect after days of trekking. Additional towels for sauna are included in the price of the session. Bikes are available for guests, which is nice - after a bit of maintenence we used them to go on a trip to nearby town.

We had a wonderful stay in Riverside during the PoB trek. Family was very kind, caring and helpful, food was delicious and we were even able to leave our car here for several days while we were on the trail.

I consider my stay a success. The location is excellent, the room has all the necessary amenities. The highlight of the place is the people. I'd especially like to thank the elderly gentleman, the driver, and his wife.

The grounds are very beautiful, the rooms are cosy and the beds are comfortable. But the most important things are the warm, friendly staff and the unparalleled homemade food!

Very friendly hosts, superb breakfast and dinner. We liked it a lot. Guesthouse is run by the family. Father grows fishes, which are offered for dinner, in the small swimming pool in front of the guesthouse. He also treats guests with his homemade rake. We were traveling with the kid and kid every day got small present from the host - juice or apple. They have everything what guests can need.

The host family really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They even let us leave our car there for a week while we did a circular hike.

Excellent hospitality, the food is plentiful and delicious. The guesthouse is clean and quiet. They recently opened a sauna with a wonderful view of the mountains. They can also help you get a ride if you need one.

“Reasonable option for Peaks of Balkans”

Dinner was good. Lunch was best sandwich on Peaks of Balkans trek. Nice setting surrounded by mountains.
