Just next to pier. Many windows with fantastic Sea view. Close to eateries and Supermart. Walk 20 to 30 mins to black beach and crater entrance.

Warm welcome by lady in the reception. Breakfast was typicaly italian - sweet. Had also gluten free muffins, sweets... (Very good chees, sausages, olives can buy in close supermarket. The fridge is in the room.) Big terrace. Very nice view for Vulcano, port.

“Awesome place to stay!”

Everything! Lovely helpful and friendly staff! My family is Liparese, so stayed across the water for a change. Would definitely stay again for an amazing experience on the waterfront!

The stuff was very sympathisch, very close to harbour, breakfast okay.

The hotel is in a perfect location if you have an early ferry or don't want to drag your luggage around the island. It's also in the center with all the restaurants, caffees and mud baths. The place is clean and comfortable. Staff is nice too. They don't all speak English but with the help of google translate, we manged to communicate without problems. Would stay there again.

“Perfect place for a short stay”

I'm not sure why this hotel has only 2 stars. Rooms are great, bed is comfortable, AC and TV work well. Service is great. View is awesome.

“The view! The breakfast!”

Well, we absolutely loved the view from the shared terrace, watching the ferries come and go was a joy! And by the way, the harbour noises are not disturbing whatsoever. The breakfast was another highlight! Served in the cafe downstairs, it includes a coffee and croissant of your choice, orange juice (sometimes freshly squeezed) and a delicious granita. The breakfast service is quick and very friendly. The room itself is ok, with efficient air conditioning and good lighting. It is cleaned daily, and very well, too. The towels are changed daily as well. You can hang your laundry on the terrace, using the drying racks and clips provided. The hotel is very high on recycling and takes it seriously, with at least four types of bins in the corridor.

“Great value for money”

Great hotel in a perfect location just a couple of minutes walk from the ferry. And the perfect place to set out and explore this wonderful island from. The hotel check in staff were so helpful and professional. They also ran the ticketing agency as well.

Hotel Faraglione offers simple, clean and recently refurbished rooms.  It has been family owned since the 50’s and there was a genuine islander warmth — the friendly staff immediately made us feel welcome.  The hotel is located next to the ferry which is a perfect location for travellers arriving by foot.  We visited during January and the small tourist-oriented community was quiet except for a few necessity shops, one cafe and the grocery store. We had perfect weather and climbed the island’s namesake volcano to the steaming crater.  Incredible place and nice little community!

“We would come back!”

The location was great, next to the port and a restaurant/bar that is open even in November. The staff was kind, the room large and very correct, and the breakfast, which was at the bar, was great. The location is also convenient for the hike to the crater.

Great location just off the boat and convenient for exploring the island. Comfortable clean room with lovely view. Good food (dinner and breakfast).

The location right on the quay, couldn't be better. The pizza in the restaurant downstairs (where breakfast is also served) was excellent!
