Located just a few minutes walk from the port, this friendly hotel is situated in front of the fine black sands of Ponente bay on the picturesque island of Vulcano. Hotel Conti is a well equipped hotel in a beautiful location and offers a selection of comfortable rooms, all of which have a private entrance and are equipped with modern facilities including a bathroom and air conditioning. The hall, restaurant, bar, pizzeria (open from 25 June to 15 September each year) and sun terrace all feature sea views, so you will never be far away from the beautiful blue sea that surrounds the island. There is a public beach near to the hotel where you can swim in the sea or simply relax on the volcanic sand. The whole hotel grounds are very run down and room is very crammed and although it is located at a beach the room itself is very depressing. We also found the air conditioning wasn’t working properly.
