We were stranded at Volcano since our ferry to Stromboli got cancelled. The hosts answered as soon as we booked the apartment and we were able to leave our stuff 5 minutes later, they really saved us. They also suggested different stuff to do, where to eat, offered help to book a small car. It was a very pleasant and relaxed communication. The house is very nice, the rooms are a bit minimalistic but cosy and a suitable place to stay if you're planning to roam around the island during warm days. Would definitely recommend!

The communication with the host was very good and uncomplicated in advance. We were warmly welcomed, and the host explained the island to us using a map and gave us some great tips.

Great location near centre, friendly host, fridge and coffee machine and beautiful view

It's a nice place. The doors go directly outside to a Veranda, which gives a private feeling and some closeness to nature. The host Was very helpful.

Such an amazing host, who helped us with the bed and our luggage, very friendly and welcoming! The rooms have an AC, a hairdryer, a coffee machine and a little fridge and all of this was very useful. We couldn't close our door at some point, but maybe it was our issue😅Good quiet location as well😊Thank you!

The rooms at Casa Schmidt are quiet and equipped with a fridge and a coffee machine. The Vulcano is just a short foot walk away. Bernhard and Marcella who run the place are very friendly and helpful people. I enjoyed my stay of three nights there.

Very nice and quiet place just a few steps from the pathway to reache the top of Vulcano. The staff is very kind and helpfull In the nearby you can find nice beaches.

The room is of a comfortable size, there is a huge balcony common to the rooms and yet a private corner for each room. The owner is very nice and available all the time, gave us a lot of information and tips, answered all our wishes (even laundry services). We came for one night and stayed for four nights.

The owner was very helpful and the story behind Casa Schmidt was so interesting. Lovely quiet place, all the beaches within 10 mins walk. Restaurants and bakery close by. Can definitely recommend it!

“Nice and relaxing stay in Vulcano”

Ben was a great host who helped us with recommendations on the island, what to see, where to go and how to rent a scooter. Casa Schmit is very well located, walking distance (10mins) from the port and the beautiful Sabbie Nere beach. There is a lovely bakery also very close. The room and terrace was simple but comfortable, with all that we needed. Recommended for sure!
