We absolutely loved our stay! Everything—from the buildings to the rooms to the interior decorations—is built and tastefully furnished by Vasilis. We especially loved how the interior decorations have integrated the culture of the area, making it feel so authentic. What made the experience truly special was interacting with our hosts, Vasilis and Adina. They are so hospitable, generous, and open to sharing about their lives. We also enjoyed the breakfast and dinner, which were delicious and prepared by the hosts. It was a perfect experience. We feel like we can stay there forever! Highly recommended.

A beautifully restored property in a very peaceful , charming and traditional Greek village. Our hosts were helpful and knowledgeable. They also prepared very good meals. Our room was comfortable and, as with the rest of the property, full of interesting artifacts.

Vasilis and Adana, (and of course Tommy the dog) are both wonderful hosts. The food for both the breakfast and the evening meals were excellent. The location is peaceful and stunning and will be even more so in the next few weeks once the leaves on the trees change into their autumn colours. Highly recommended.

Fine decorated rooms with traditional furniture. Located in the forest and shaded cool area, AC were not required during our stay in July. Quiet place, recommended.

Everything about our experience was lovely. We were met by Adina, who checked us in and explained the property, and later met Vassilios. The care and attention paid to detail is what stands out immediately. Vassilios sought to faithfully reconstruct a specific, traditional form of architecture and experience in Viraggas, and he does it magnificently. It's a great location if you want to be away from the crowds and in a relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor spaces are lovely, great for sitting and having a drink in serenity. Really, everything is lovely and we could go on for ages about it, but what's truly special about Viraggas is that care and attention that go from the physical spaces to the personal relationships. Adina and Vassilios are warm, interesting, and thoughtful people who struck us as genuinely caring for their property and our experiences, without ever being invasive. In addition, Vassilios is an excellent chef and staying and trying his cuisine is definitely worth it.

“Really nice hotel for a good relax”

The hotel is really nice with a cozy mountain vibe. The host is very attentive and gives good recommendations! Breakfast is homemade and fresh but a some fruit could be added (since there is a beautiful fig tree outside) and maybe a bit of Greek yogurt to make it perfect.

Staying in the middle of the forest was a very peaceful experience. But it is better to call this place ''airbnb'' rather than a hotel. Owners were polite.

If you want a place for your soul, where you can enjoy nature and peace, but at the same time visit the beautiful beaches in the area, we recommend this accommodation with all confidence. The hotel is very nicely decorated, Vasili has put his artist's stamp on every detail. The cleanliness is exemplary, the scenery is gorgeous, and the breakfast is delicious. Every day Vasili prepares a different breakfast with local products. Vasili and Adina are wonderful people who will make you feel at home. Both Adina and Vasili recommended us very beautiful places to see and we thank them for everything. If you want to have dinner at the accommodation, don't hesitate, Vasili cooks very well and you will be very pleased with the food he prepares. We will definitely come back, Viraggas is the place we will never forget, definitely the most beautiful accommodation concept we have experienced so far! We loved that the hotel is in a quiet location, surrounded by beautiful nature, very clean and built in the authentically local traditional manor. Vassilis the owner and Dina were very attentive and we enjoyed the delicious food offered! We would strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and tasteful experience.

The hosts are great. Adina is very friendly and accommodating and Vasili is a really good cook. The property is very nicely kept and you can see their attention to detail everywhere. The plunge pool was a great way to cool off during our stay.

“Hidden gem in a mountain village, far from the hustle and bustle of party beaches.”

First of all, it is a hidden gem (in all possible meanings). It is located in the mountain village and even in extreme summer you would find a moderate climate (stream flowing below) around the property. You could hide from direct sun in many (shaded) places, especially in a refreshing pool. We have rented a car so I can't say how easy it is to reach the property without it. But I suggest to go for it and you can then explore surroundings easily. Vasilis is a true "cook" so I strongly recommend you take the opportunity to be introduced to Greek-Macedonian regional cuisine. When you have a good host, it makes half of your vacation... And in our case all ingredients "clicked" together.

“Excellent location and place to stay”

The house is in a secluded location inside the village. You can easily walk in 5 minutes to the village square where there is a shop and a couple of taverns. The house is surrounded by a nice forest. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and were served in a very nice terrace. The appartment was very clean and the hosts were extremely nice and helpful with their recommendations.
