“Steep road up to cave house but comfy and warm.”
Very near to Vouvray. Comfortable bed and great shower. Well equipped kitchen. Host was very attentive and responded well. We had a problem with the log fire and couldn't use it in the end as apparently we should have used kindling before putting the logs on and left the front door open slightly. WE had lots of black smoke otherwise. Electricity went out on the 3rd morning but the host came and sorted it. Wifi was very good and it was cozy and warm.

This is a good opportunity to try something different if you have never slept in a cave. There is a tiny but lovely terrace to have your breakfast, and a beautiful bathroom with rock walls and ceiling.
