Extremely clean with all advertised facilities. The host was very helpful and friendly. The view from the balcony was spectacular.

Great location for exploring the island. Not far from Patitri and Chora, but also not in the most busy area. The accommodation was specious enough for 3 people, quite basic but offering the essentials for a stay. Despite that we booked the only left free room with balkony overlooking the street, we were still able to see the sea. Votsi beach and tavernas are close and aproacheble via walking. The family that runs the business is quite nice and helpful.

“Lovely place, lovely hosts”

It’s the best place for people like us, who want to spend all day in the sun and little time inside. Magdalini and her son are lovely lovely hosts, they are always eager to accommodate any request (within reason). The room is super clean, spacious and OF COURSE you have the best views. This was our second time and were very happy with our choice.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Great reception, amazing view, everything was clean and tidy and the restaurant down the road was open even in late October when everything else was already closed for low season. We liked the welcome from the staff and owner, the room was simple but more than adequate, with a fantastic view over the Votsi harbour. Located near to grear restaurants, but very quiet and peaceful. We intend to return.

The apartment was very convenient for 4 people and newly renovated. The view in the morning was amazing. Ms Magdalini is a person full of kindness, friendliness and with high hospitality value. She was kind enough to clean the whole property once per day and she was willing to change our towels sooner than the regular. She also gave us useful advices for the island.

The owners were so very welcoming and friendly. The location was quiet and only 20 minutes stroll to town. The rooms were well presented (in a charmingly dated style) and very clean. There were two supermarkets within easy walking distance and the bus was useful (once you worked out the timetable)! Alonissos is a wonderful island and I would highly recommend visiting.

Brilliant location up steps from the harbour. Beach and harbour view from balcony is stunning. A lot of steps up and down but you get that fabulous view from above. Very clean and normal size rooms.

Magdalini is a very nice place. My balcony had a lovely view of Votsi bay (also lovely to swim in) and I believe all rooms do. The place is spotlessly clean, cleaned every day (unless you ask otherwise, they're understanding as to this too which is important). No problem with parking nearby, without a car there are some steep stairs/inclines to be walked to the beach, the little supermarket nearby etc., but I myself stayed there for ten days without a car except for one day, and had no problem with it - it depends how you are for climbing, but that's Alonissos... The room is of a comfortable size, and so is the bathroom & toilet. Mainly, it is a family-run place, and all the members of the family do their best to meet your particular needs - that is one of its chief assets, and I did appreciate it. I believe there are also rooms which are studios, and those are better equipped for making meals. However mine, though not a studio, had a small camp gas burner on which you could make greek coffee, boil eggs etc, and a flat toaster, so I could make my breakfast and simple meals, which I also appreciated. Perhaps the mattress of the bed could be bettered, though it was certainly okay, otherwise everything was fine - the view, the comfort, and especially the people.
