“Perfect place to stay as a family.”

The friendliness of the staff and support with any queries we had during our stay was amazing. Breakfast everyday was a slightly different selection of Greek/continental options, plenty to share and fill us up for the day, with fresh juice and coffee delivered straight to the door and laid out on the outdoor table ready for us at a time we selected. The pool was also very clean and tidy and I felt very comfortable taking the babies in the pool. The cot provided was brilliant and perfect for our baby to also sleep safely. Staff were available at any time to help/support us with taxi’s, transfers, questions (ironing board, restaurant recommendations etc).

The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and a delicious breakfast was served just outside our room each morning. The owner, Stamantina, was kind and very accommodating. The area is peaceful and quiet, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed taking morning walks from the property to Kamari Beach.

Our stay at Stamatina’s place was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by warmth, care, and genuine hospitality. The breakfasts were always delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with a wide variety each day. A special thank you to the lovely Eva — truly a magical girl! She was always kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Beautiful both inside and out, she added so much to our experience. The entire team works together like a perfectly tuned mechanism, making everything run smoothly and comfortably. We were especially grateful for the help with car rental, restaurant reservations, and suggestions for local experiences — it made our stay even more relaxed and enjoyable. I’m so happy I chose this place for our holiday. The time flew by, but the memories will stay with us. We will definitely recommend this wonderful home to all our friends and family. Very clean, great location on the island, and a lovely host. Great extra service in pick up from airport, and bringing us to the ferry to Crete Lovely clean pool. The apartment was very clean, great beds. The hottubs are max 28/29 degrees. Which is fine with these warm temperatures in Santorini.

Breakfast was delicious. The host Stamatina gave us helpful information of the area. Her driver came and picked up us and also drove us back to the port on our departure day. Transfer was included. She even packed breakfasts to take with us on our early departure. Free parking at the house accommodation.

Everything about this accommodation is perfect..Location is great 10mins drive away from Fira Square & Kamari 5mins drive to the airport. The villas are gorgeous and cute right in the middle of an authentic original little town. Supermarket, cafe and Petrol station and Pharmacy 5mins drive or 15min walk. Samatina is so accommodating and helpful she helped with organising car hire and laundry service. Delivers breakfast every morning. And also have room service daily. I travelled with my teenage children and the loved the place. jacuzzi is a nice touch as well as the beautiful pool area. The perfect place to stay.

The place very comfortable, spacious and decorated with so good taste which made it stunning. My kids loved the jacuzzi and could stay there with privacy. Stamina is an incredible host, super available to help so you can have a pleasant time there. The breakfast was delicious, each day different, with very good local products.

“Outstanding stay (Alcyone)”

Our stay has been amazing. We've been staying in Alcyone, a 2 bed property. It looks out over the shared outdoor pool which itself is stunning. The property is spacious, with excellent air con, and naturally cool. The beds are comfy, the main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. There's also a further main bathroom next to bedroom two. The pool never busy and there's always enough sun loungers. We often had the pool to ourselves. Alternatively you can use Alcyone's private hot tub, which is discreetly located in a small prita patio behind a short wall accessed from either the kitchen or living room area, so you can just relax in private if you want. Stamatima, our host is lovely, she and her colleagues looked after us so well she spoke good English too which helped. We have been served fresh home cooked breakfast, something slightly different each day, and brought direct to our breakfast table every morning, with a fantastic daily selection of traditional Greek food. Stamatima also recommended some great restaurants: Franco's Cafe, Galini Taverna being just two, the latter of which she booked for us. She also booked our boat trip to the volcanic island which was a big help. Stamatima also offered to collect us from the airport on arrival, but we'd already booked a hour car by then. There are plenty of shops and bus stops within walking distance, we found hiring a car allowed us to properly explore all of the island. (There's plenty of parking here too, which is another bonus). We check out tomorrow and honestly we don't want to leave 😭 I highly recommend Plaides Eco Houses - you won't regret it.

“Perfect stay and the best hospitality we could ask for.”

My first ever review after years of travelling and one that I feel compelled to write due to the incredible hospitality we received. The host, Stamatina, was so warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had some issues getting to our next accosting in Oia and Stamatina went out of her way to organise a hire car for us which was delivered within half an hour at a very reasonable price. The villa itself was stunning, beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and adequately spacious for our family of 4. We used the main pool which was a good size and the perfect temperature in the height of August . There was a jacuzzi just outside our villa which we used daily and even made use of it on our last night. The breakfast was delivered to our door every morning at our chosen time..each day we were presented with something different including homemade muffins, traditional Greek spinach pie (spanakopita) poached eggs, fruit etc…it was all incredible. The location is quiet and we made use of a car which is recommended although there are a few lovely local restaurants. If you’re looking for an idyllic setting away from the busier resorts in Santorini I would strongly recommend these villas.

“Excellent relaxing environment with friently and polite staff”

Superb breakfast, clean and nice apartment and pool. Very comfortable pick up and drop off from port. Very helpful and friendly host. As a family with two young kids we loved our stay and would definitely recommend the place.

We had excellent time. Very nice feeling amazing breakfast and very nice swimming pole. Hospitality amazing. it is real nice place I would come back to the same place.

Beautiful clean property in the middle of the island. Staff collected us from airport and after our stay brought us to the port for departure. We had lovely breakfast each morning on the patio served by very friendly staff who also arranged a hire car for us. We enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi bath. Staff also printed off a document for us and posted some postcards on our behalf as we could not locate a postbox anywhere in Santorini!
