“An oasis of peace and tranquility in Voss with amazing food!”

The location was beautiful with views across the valleys. We were warmly welcomed and settled into our very comfortable room. Dinner in the restaurant was of a very high standard and we loved that the food was from the farm or local suppliers. It was a real gastronomic treat. We enjoyed talking to the owners learning more about the local area and history. It was a very special and relaxing stay in Voss and was definitely the favourite hotel of our holiday (we stayed in 5 hotels across Norway, Denmark and Swedes).

Property couldn’t have been better, attentive host and lovely room. Great value for money, amazing scenery and perfect location. Breakfast was amazing, sets you up for whatever your plans are. Loved hearing about the history of the hotel, like an air b&b!! Don’t miss this if you’re in the area

“Lovely stay near the slopes of Voss”

We had a really nice stay at the hotel, albeit it was just a one night stay for our group . The host staff (owners) were super attentive in a natural, easy going way and always made sure we were taken care of without it ever feeling over the top. All the food at the hotel restaurant was locally sourced—it felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. And honestly, the scrambled eggs at breakfast were the best we’ve ever had. Overall, it just felt like a genuinely well-run, welcoming place near the slopes.

Warm and welcoming staff, charming property, and cosy rooms. We were a little late to breakfast and the staff held back on cleaning until we were finished. The owner introduced herself and made sure we had what we needed. I wish we had planned a longer stay.

It was authentic and very peaceful. Staff and owners were genuinely interested in making our stay memorable. The recommendations to visit the Gorge? And the Voss Folk Museum were great. The restaurant was fine dining at its best with spectacular views. Lovely family.

Beautiful property in a very special location on the hill above Voss town centre. 20 mins walk downhill into town, free shuttle bus to hotel on arrival and departure from bus or train station. Gorgeous comfortable rooms with Loccitane toiletries, comfy chairs etc. wonderful restaurant with Michelin standard food, all sourced locally.

wonderful stay, has the feel of a homestay or airbnb but with the professionalism, amenties and the restaurants of a hotel. Lovely location with gorgeous views, only a few minutes from town and there is a courtesy bus that will run you in/pick you up as needed. This was a lovely break from our mainly large hotel stay during our travels. Late checkout 12 pm meant that we could have a sleep in and not have to rush in the morning

This is a special place with a wonderful tale to tell. Upon arrival, we were greeted by one of the owners who told us the history of the property whilst also proudly announcing himself as 10th generation of the farm. The room was tastefully decorated with a cosy, warm feel to it. We chose to have dinner at the Store Ringheim Restaurant, where all produce is sourced sustainably and locally. The menu was set and with each course came a story. We started with meat that had been cured since 2022! It was delicious! Breakfast was equally delightful and we left feeling well rested and fed. It was a short walk to Voss City Centre where there are coffee shops to enjoy. A really special experience and one that I would recommend!

The property was delightful and the location breath taking. Our rooms were extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a fabulous evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast was excellent. It was a very memorable stay and we all wishes we had booked another night
