This property fantastic in both location and facilities. It was the most comfortable and best equipped holiday property we have ever stayed in. Every detail had been thought out such as a well equipped kitchen, highly furnished bathrooms and incredibly comfortable bedrooms. The host had contacted us prior to arrival with an extensive and helpful list of recommendations for the local area and this was greatly appreciated. The host was also on hand to help us when we foolishly locked ourselves outside on the balcony. Volendam was a great location to base our visit to the Netherlands with great transport links to the rest of the country. This property felt like a home away from home. The small touches such as the reed difusores and toiletries really added to this feeling.

The Wi-Fi speed was absolutely incredible at almost 200 meg. The location was amazing because it was so close to all the shops. Everything in the apartment was a very high spec and comfortable. Volendam Museum, which is just a short walk up the road is a real treasure trove of information. It’s really well laid out and very very cheap to get in. I discovered a group called the cats who were really big in the 60s and 70s, and it’s just my kind of music.

Prior to arrival we received an extensive description from the owner how to enter the apartment, about the various parking possibilities. Tips for tourist attractions and activities with even a recommendation summary of good restaurants. The apartment is fully equipped with modern kitchen and all facilities needed for long stay even though we just booked for 4 days. Very confortable and cosy romantic atmosphere in various lighting possibilities as per the setting oof the day and mood. I think everyone who would spend a few days in this apartment would agree that you feel like home (or better :-) Volendam and area is a great place for tourists and even Dutch people

We felt so comfortable and at home. We really experienced the atmosphere of Volendam being so close to the harbour and wonderful restaurants.

Really lovely apartment in a great location, perfect for our needs. Vivian, the owner was extremely helpful and provided very helpful local information. The apartment was a good size, our two teenagers were fine in the small room, there is a sofa bed apparently if needed. It is located in a short term, blue parking zone, we were able to load/unload near by but for longer parking we used an underground car park in Boegstraat street, just 5 mins walk away for €9 a day. Conveniently located for buses to Amsterdam and other nearby towns. Adult day return to Amsterdam by bus was €12.50 and takes 40mins. We used both bikes plus hired a couple more from the hire company in the harbour. Easy cycling and a great way to explore the area. Edam is a 3km walk/cycle away..

Location is fantastic. It's a really lovely, homely house and so cosy with all the candles they have around. We really loved our stay and would happily go back. Very easy to get to from Amsterdam by bus and a nice walk to to to Edam. Lots to do in the area.
