We especially enjoyed our stay at Motel Arctic wind, the size of our room was great, nice big bathroom, we were warmly welcomed and given some information and the treat was using the jacuzzi with the Northern Lights appearing above us. There’s also location is superb, it’s located at a quiet seaside town, which happens to be the perfect distance from everything. It is just over 15mins from the airport, the blue lagoon and the city. There’s also a beach nearby which we watched the lights from as well. We were impressed. I think the name should be changed to Arctic Wind lodge because it’s better than a motel.

As a first or last night in Iceland this little motel near the Keflavik airport is ideal. Although we didn't meet the owner her friendly presence was everywhere, from the well appointed room to the welcoming kitchen.

Spotless clean, super comfy, warm and quiet. Perfect location if you fly in late or fly out early morning. There’s coffee and tea plus breakfast bowls available in the room which means you can make cereals for breakfast or something instant. Would definitely stay again! Late self check at night was possible which made it super fast and convenient.
