Its away from the city, so perfect to see the northern lights

This is our second visit to this house. And we do love it. We love the area and the view. We also find it very central to where we like to travel to. We also like that it is in a quiet area and with lovely views of the sea and no light pollution to see the Northern Lights. Washing machine and tumble dryer are a huge plus. Underfloor heating is lovely and the bathroom is a great space too.

Location was gorgeous. Right by the sea. It was exactly as described and I have nothing but praise for the house. Warm and welcoming and everything was excellent. Could not recommend it enough. We had an amazing stay.

The house is beautiful with large windows to see the surrounding ocean and beautiful weather and sunsets. The house is luxurious with heated floors. It is relaxing to sip a coffee by the window looking at the ocean where the wind blows away the rain clouds.

“Christmas stay in the Cabin”

Great communication with owners. A little bit off the beat and track in the winter when it is dark and cold. But once you got your bearings, it wasnt such a problem. Good size family property. Great blue tooth speaker, for listening to music. Wood burner makes the place feel super cozy. It never felt cold at all in the property throughout the day or night.

The property was spacious and clean and very comfortable. The beds in particular were super comfy! There were large glass windows at the front where we spent a lot of time sitting and watching the sea (and looking for the aurora at night). We saw humpback whales and dolphins from the house, and also the aurora on almost every night when it wasn't cloudy. There was a lovely wood burner, and the kitchen was well supplied with everything you might need. And it was well situated for the road to go sight-seeing. All in all, we had an excellent and comfortable stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Ideal location, out of town and right next to the shore but close to the main sites. Only 15 minute drive to Reykjavik.

Remote location between airport and Reykjavik, with great view. Apartment was clean and fully equipped. Good choice.

The property is amazing though won't suit everyone. You will need a car and its 30-35 minutes into the city. You are remote in a dark site with perfect views North so could watch the lights from inside. Underfloor heating ensures you are comfy and with the sea air the best sleep ever.

A fantastic house in a great location, we were always happy to come home to a lovely warm house after a day of exploring the wilderness. Spacious, clean linen, comfortable beds and fresh water for drinking, the bathroom was fantastic and spacious as well. The facilities were great, washing machine and tumble dryer - the kitchen was really well thought out and you have everything you need for a very comfortable stay. We saw the Aurora from the lounge windows on numerous nights. Location to Keflavik airport and Reykjavik was convenient, with good planning, you have access to the Southern routes, and Western routes as well. We would definitely book to come again.

Location was very convenient from Reykjavik and also the International Airport - but in hindsight the main attractions were over the other side of town - but not a big deal when you have a hire car. Great facilities and very comfortable.

Beautiful views of the sea in this quiet property. It was a few hundred yards on an unmarked road after leaving the main road so might be difficult to see in the winter as unlit. Modern but characterful inside with loads of books and an excellent sound system. (no TV) Kitchen well equipped and beds extremely comfortable. Good blinds. Excellent for getting to airport (15mins) and Reykjavík (25 mins) and Golden Circle and South Coast easily reached within a couple of hours. We hired a car.

Super location, great newly build house with great facilities, amazing views all around

Fantastic location - within easy reach of both the airports and city centre. Despite this, the setting felt quiet and secluded .

Access was easy using the key box code sent to us the day before including a video and photos of our route to the Cabin and how to open and lock the door. The cabin was perfect for our needs, very comfortable and with all accessories needed. There was no tv which we found very refreshing and resulted in us have some super social evenings. We even watched the aurora borealis from the comfort of the sitting room. Perfect.

Lovely big cabin with the view. Good size bathrooms, fantactic view, good communication with the owner who been in touch every day. Recomended to arrive on day time because in dark if difficult locate the house
