The area is fantastic. There's a lot of gravel roads, this is like holidaying in the 80's with lots of rural charm. The area is far less expensive than the dalmatian area. Cycling in this area is fantastic, and far less dangerous than the coastal areas in the south. There's a lot to explore and the more you explore, the more you find.

A lot of space for a family, nice hosts, near a lot of different beaches, 20 minutes drive by car to Pula. You can test and buy local wine and olive oil in Vodnjan.
