The owners are an elderly couple, and they made our stay a terrible experience. They were disrespectful and gave off the vibe of strict professors constantly watching us. My two friends and I stayed here for six days, and it was clear that the owners dislike young people, showing it openly. They had no problem acting superior, pretending not to understand us when we spoke Croatian, and behaving inappropriately, as if we were their children, not their GUESTS. As three 20-year-old girls who speak little Croatian, and with them not speaking English, they would go on talking endlessly while we just stood there, like scared students, unable to say anything back. Every day, they told us to turn off the AC, close the blinds, turn off the lights... They have soooo many restrictive rules and were always watching and listening. They didn’t hesitate to yell at us if we did something wrong, and we were too scared to ask them about anything. At one point, they threatened to kick us out and call the police because we didn’t realize visitors weren’t allowed. We just wanted to play cards with two friends from home who were near Vodice, but they must have listened outside the door, heard voices, and immediately got angry. They didn’t give us a chance to apologize or explain. We were so afraid of them that we even took our shoes off when walking down the stairs. It was a really bad, scary, and stressful experience, and I’m surprised that Booking.com allows this. They seem to only want quiet families so if you’re traveling with friends or as a young couple, I REALLY don’t recommend staying here.

Apartment is very clean and spacious. It’s 5 min walk from the closest beach . Host was really nice and welcoming.

Pleasant accommodation in the apartment of a nice elderly couple. The apartment was clean and cozy, equipped with everything you need. We stayed here with two small children (4 and 6 years old) and appreciated the proximity to the beach and the historic center. On the last day, the owner prepared delicious homemade donuts for breakfast and took our suitcases to the bus station. Definitely recommend to everyone!
