“Comfortable, Quiet & Exceptionally Welcoming”

I decided to stay in Vlorë's city center after spending several days on the coast in Himarë, and I’m very glad I did. I was initially drawn in by the reviews, as I was looking for a hostel where I could slow down and recharge for a few days. The location is excellent, situated just off two of the main streets, it's only a short walk to cafés, restaurants, and local attractions, while still being far enough away to remain quiet and peaceful at night. As a relatively new hostel, the facilities are in great condition. The showers have excellent water pressure and reliable hot water, something that can’t always be taken for granted while traveling. The sleeping pods are spacious and thoughtfully designed, offering a good balance of privacy and comfort. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils, cookware, spices, and everything needed to prepare meals easily. What really makes this place special, however, is the atmosphere. The hostel is built within a family home, and you can genuinely feel that warmth throughout your stay. Niko is one of the kindest and most welcoming hostel owners I have met. He takes great pride in the property and is constantly maintaining and improving it himself. I ended up extending my stay because I felt so comfortable there. The hostel also rents bicycles, which was a great way to explore Vlorë and get around the city.

It's a brand new hostel within 10 minutes walking distance from the center, clean and very well kept. Affordable capsule beds with privacy curtains, fully equipped kitchen/common area and an outdoor dining area sheltered from the sun. Nico the owner is the nicest person you will ever meet and has worked as a tourist guide for years so he is very knowledgeable of the city and country. My last night he fired up the grill for us so we could have a barbecue - all in all a great experience would definitely recommend.

I originally planned to stay here for just one night, but I ended up staying four nights because everything was absolutely perfect. The hostel was incredibly clean, tidy, and well-maintained, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve had during my travels. I also really appreciated how private and peaceful the space felt. What made the experience even more special was the host, Niko. He was extremely friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring, which made me feel at home from the first day. His hospitality was outstanding and made my stay even more memorable. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vlorë. The host is really helpful and makes the stay comfortable. The facilities are nice for a hostel, newly made hostel with capsule style beds for privacy and comfort. It is in a quiet neighborhood close to the city center. Easy walking distance to restaurants and the beach.

I was back for my second stay at Queen-V after I missed the last bus to Sarandë. Just as last time, the manager, who I now consider my brother, welcomed me with open arms. I chose this place again because of the design of the hostel — the privacy the beds offer and how central it is. It’s so clean and neat. Thank you for your hospitality.

The hostel is amazing and everything is thoughtfully designed to give you the best experience. It’s well located, close enough to the touristy area while still being away from the noise. Nico is a great host, and you can really tell he wants guests to feel at home. Everything was very clean and new. I highly recommend staying here.

Check-In was smooth, Nico is very helpfull and professional. He meets and exceeds very high standards in terms of hospitality and cleanliness. The equipment is modern, the bed very comfy. Cafés and restaurants/shops are quite close. I wished I could have stayed longer.

If you're on a long-distance cycling trip on the EuroVelo 8 or simply exploring Albania, you'll find this the perfect place. Your bike will be safe and secure, and you won't have to carry it. The communal facilities and the establishment in general are brand new. You'll feel right at home here for a night or a few days. The dormitory beds are cozy little wooden cocoons, very intimate and warm. The young owner is extremely friendly, helpful, and cheerful. The place and atmosphere are truly pleasant, with a lovely outdoor patio that allows you to maintain your sense of routine, even in the city. My only advice to everyone, and especially to cyclists like myself (who have been traveling for years): you're in the right place, so don't hesitate to stop by. Traveler's word! 🚵‍♀️

Amazing hostel in Vlorë, I just loved my stay there! - Nico is the nicest guy there is, welcoming me warmly and really going the extra mile to make sure everything was okay and even helping out to plan my route on my bicycle trip! - Well designed beds with plenty of room, offering more intimacy and noise cancelling than normal hostel beds - Well situated with plenty of bars and restaurants around! I'd really love to come back one day!

Absolutely OUTSTANDING place that I just kept on extending and extending! Queen-V is relatively new and owned by a passionate young guy (Niko) who knows about hospitality and is always striving to make your stay as comfortable as possible. - AMAZING beds. Each bunk is like a capsule, very private, with plug and reading lamp. The mattress is larger than most hostel dorms that I've ever come across. There's also space inside to leave some things and the lockers under the bed are big. - Very hot water in the shower - Fully functional kitchen with a fridge, stove, over, plates, cups etc. - Nice little lounge area and small street level porch. - Great wifi - Very central with cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. There were some negative points from other reviews regarding a noisy bedroom door, which was true, but Niko replaced it with a silent glass sliding door, which shows his dedication for always improving any issues. He's also currently in the process of extending the hostel for the summer period. I couldn't recommend this place more! 10/10
