Overview
Dated from the XV Century, this establishment is located in Viveiro, near the estuary and in a charming valley bathed in tranquillity, silence and large country houses. There is a large garden with trees and vegetation indigenous to Galicia, an authentic traditional Galician grain store and a chapel, all surrounded by forest belonging to Pazo. The rooms are rustic and afford nice views of the landscape. There is a library with fireplace and a swimming pool for your enjoyment. The property offers customised breakfast. Between the beach and the mountains, here you can practice scuba-diving and trekking.

“A Delightful (too short) stay at Pazo da Trave”
Our one-night stay at Pazo da Trave in Viveiro was an absolute gem, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. This beautifully restored 15th-century palace exudes charm and history, making it a perfect retreat. The lush gardens, dotted with a traditional Galician granary, chapel, and sculptures, created a serene and picturesque setting that felt like stepping into a fairytale. The room was cozy, impeccably clean, and comfortable, with rustic decor that perfectly complemented the historic ambiance. The staff were attentive, warm, and welcoming, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. The dinner at the onsite restaurant was exceptional—simple yet delicious Galician dishes made with love, using fresh, local ingredients. It was one of the best meals we had in Northern Spain, served in a charming dining room that added to the experience. With a lovely pool, free parking, and a peaceful atmosphere, Pazo da Trave left us with no complaints. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We highly recommend this enchanting hotel to anyone visiting Viveiro for a truly memorable stay.

“Great Stay”
The staff were really attentive and went out of the way to make your stay pleasant. This goes for recrption staff and waiters. The hotel was quirky and beautiful but very comfortable. An excellent breakfast and lovely grounds.

Pretty building nice grounds has some derelict buildings around it though . Easy to find . Food was tasty but had no presentation and everything came with chips no veg or salad offered .

“A true rural paradise”
Pazo de Trave has a truly magical feel and offers so many ways to relax and unwind. From the minute you arrive you feel welcomed and special. The house is a beautifully restored historic building with amazing ceramics dotted all around. The garden is just as wonderful - with lots of different spaces to explore. Equally wonderful were the staff and the manager Leticia. Nothing was too much trouble - attentive without being obsequious and they seemed to know what you wanted before you’d even realised yourself. Leticia was also a mine of information, suggesting all manner of activities for our daytime excursions as well as restaurant options.

“A place we love to retun too”
It is always a fantastic experience to return to Pazo da Trave. We found the place as we were looking for a dog-friendly pazo. The kindness, friendliness of the staff is second to none, you feel really welcomed and they are very attentive to your every need. Add to that that the property is really beautiful and not far from the sea

“A beautiful traditional hotel set in the countryside just ten minutes from beaches.”
The staff, and especially the Director, Leticia, we're very attentive and warm..The furniture was traditional for the area and the garden a beautiful place to read or have a drink. Both breakfast and dinner were available and delicious. Parking was ample.
