The position was strategical, next to ferry station and bus station. A little square is very close, useful to chill with a drink, have typical Maltese breakfast or where to take coffee and grab some snacks. Beautiful, spacious and elegant apartment with every comfort. Visiting the area around it worth it, walking by the typical Maltese houses. We loved it! Wanna come back soon!

The location suited us. We didn’t have a car so the limited parking in the area wasn’t an issue. The apartment is modern and well decorated. It is mostly quiet (especially compared to an apartment we once rented in Sliema ! ). The narrow streets mean that when a car or motorbike goes past you notice it. But mostly there is very little passing traffic. We didn’t cook or use the cooking facilities so I can’t comment on those but they seemed modern and little used. There is a washing machine outside but we didn’t use it. The kettle and fridge work just fine 😉 The host was very communicative and helpful. We felt relaxed about getting to and into the property.

Darren is a perfect host, answering every question and helping us even before our arrival. The apartment is large and perfect for 3 peope, but more coud easily fit 😊 The kitchen is well equiped. There are some small stores around, but you need to go at least once to Valetta to Lidl or Spar for propper shopping at a supermarket. Wi fi was very good. We used the A/C even if it has a coin meter, don't imagine it will break your budget. Close to Birgu center, 3 minutes walk. Lovely city, away from the crowds. We used the bus all the time (no.2 from the center or 3 or 4 from the main gate, 7 min walk). We used the boat only once to get to the Gozo ferry.

Spacious rooms, great location, fully equipped. Comfortable beds. Everything as advertised.

Lovely home and great host was happy to give detailed information. The apartment is in a very lovely part of town, really recommend a stay here. We split oir stay half time Birgu half time st juliens..we wished we had just stayed here!!

I highly recommend this place. Clean and nicely located a bit away from the center but at the same time it was close enough to reach the capital city by nice walk and ferry in 30 min. Very good contact with the owner - we could stay some time longer waiting for the plane - which was very nice of the host - Thank you again :). The place itself spacious but cozy with all the kitchen utensils one may need. What was very good were the manuals prepared at the place with all the instructions- for us most helpful was the ferry schedule. We went to Malta totally unprepared for couple of days and such a nice helping hand was totally great. What else to say... in one word everything was just perfect :) We hope to come back there one day as we all have fallen in love with the Malta and its beauty.

Great size, great modern refurbishment of a beautiful old property. The apartment is beautifully furnished and had absolutely everything we needed.

It was clean and had all the modern aminities which were required. Modern and nicely furnished. It was located in a quiet area and local transportation ( bus and ferry to Valetta) was reasonably priced and easy to use. It was a comfortable stay.

The location was in a quiet residential area, whilst being close to restaurants on the waterfront and in the square. It was an easy walk to the ferry. The apartment had everything we needed, was modern and very clean.

The location is perfect to integrate with the locals, who are friendly and helpful. The accommodation is excellent. Everything catered for. Darren made our trip perfect and assured that there was help if needed. Location is good for restaurants nearby. There is a water taxi 5 minutes away for Valetta. Little local shops close to the accommodation. There is plenty of culture within walking distance.

The location is perfect. You can visit busy Valetta by 2€ taxi or ferry very easily and quickly, but you have the peace and quiet of beautiful Birgu on your doorstep along with plenty of good restaurants and bars. The host is exceptionally helpful and informative. The apartment sleeps 4 comfortably and is very well equipped. You can walk to a little swimming area in 5 minutes

The property is clean, spacious and in a lovely location, 5min walk from the water taxi into Valletta which was perfect for us. I would 100% stay here again when visiting Malta and the host was incredibly accommodating and quick to answer any queries.
