“Wonderful stay”

Our stay here was wonderful. The garden is one of the most beautifully curated hotel gardens - full of roses, with a small river flowing around it, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The gazebo and pool in the garden make the whole setting feel very special. We stayed in a room with a patio overlooking the river. The room was spacious, spotless and comfortable. The owners are exceptionally kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring hosts. They clearly have a wonderful sense for interior design and for making guests feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast - everything was prepared with care, beautifully presented, and made from high-quality ingredients. The location is right at the entrance to the old city centre, making it both peaceful and convenient for exploring the area.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. It has the most beautiful garden and pool, right next to the river. It's an oasis. The food is exceptional. I had all three deserts and as a pastry chef, I have to say they were top notch. A lovely home away from home.

I loved that all the staff were friendly and that nothing was too much trouble. They arranged transport for us and even helped my son and his girlfriend find their way around the local train station. The grounds we’d immaculately kept and breakfast was delicious. We truly felt like we were looked after by family. A wonderful cosy place to stay when in Vittorio Veneto. Thank you to Flora and her family for a fabulous stay.

The owners were amazing, excellent service and they knew exactly how to judge the interaction (be fully available, extremely friendly and helping with information, while also not being too much and giving us space). I have never been so welcomed at an accommodation and made to feel like I belonged there. They seemed fully committed to giving you the best experience possible, recommendations for things to do and were excited to offer advice and information. Strongly recommend the garden room, has a nice patio right next to the river!

Hosts Flora and Alfredo are fantastic. Their customer service is outstanding. We were greeted by Flora on arrival who made us feel very welcome. Alfredo has taken us into Vittorio Veneto and also to the train station and even got our train tickets for us. The breakfast each morning is wonderful and the homemade cakes and pastries are delicious. Highly recommend this place for a quiet relaxing stay as it is located in a beautiful setting.

“A wonderful stay in a wonderful place :)”

Firstly, Hotel Calvi is run by the most wonderful family, and the hotel has been in their family for over 100 years! . Alfredo, Flora and their two sons made us feel so welcome and comfortable from the second we arrived - picking us up from the train station, showing us around.. One of the boys even cooked us some delicious pasta! Nothing was too much trouble for them, and you can tell that they are passionate about creating a calm, comfortable and warm environment for all their guests. I can honestly say I've never experienced such brilliant, genuine service in a hotel. Secondly, the hotel itself is beautiful. The building is grand and beautifully decorated. We actually stayed in two different rooms - one in the main building and one in the garden room, and both were perfect. The garden is stunning with flowers, a lovely swimming pool and even a river that runs along the bottom of the garden that we were able to swim in to keep cool. A slice of heaven! Finally the location is great, on the edge of the old part of Vittorio Veneto which is a lovely, historic little town with heaps of character. We enjoyed exploring and appreciating the beautiful old buildings and excellent bars and restaurants. I almost forgot to mention, breakfast was absolutely amazing! There was even delicious home-baked bread and cakes, and fruit from next door's garden. Can you ask for more? Overall we had a 100% perfect stay at Hotel Calvi and really hope to return one day! I think we will :) Thank you again to Alfredo, Flora and their sons!

“Top in service and very friendly.”

We had the room with view of the river, it's own over decked terrace, and close to the pool and river. Couldn't be better for a few days rest. Hotel is small and friendly, the owner took us for a drive around the old town pointing out places of interest, and restaurants for our evening meal. The following day he drove us up the hill to the church, so we could visit the church, take in the views, and walk back down to the village. Hotel service gets a 10+ for going above and beyond with top service.
