Great location in the mountains with amazing views! A short hike away from the start of the biggest hike in the Vikos Gorges. A lot of eating options reachable by foot and the room was also very comfortable.

The property was really tidy and comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the hills. The host was superb. You could walk directly from the property and into hiking trails. The nearby restaurants had fantastic food.

This is my third stay in a 3 week period. I was so impressed with Sofia’s efficiency and helpfulness, Petros’ warm welcome and his wife’s hard work at keeping the guesthouse clean and tidy, that I booked 3 times during the course of my visit to Zagori. I loved the village, it’s location, the views and the proximity to fantastic restaurants and amazing hiking trails. I highly recommend staying at Zelinia Rooms :)

I stayed here for 5 nights the week before and thoroughly enjoyed it, so rebooked for 1 night in between locations. It’s a very welcoming guesthouse owned and run by a warm and wonderful family.

The location is set in a lovely village with incredible views from every direction. It’s walking distance to a few very good restaurants, as well as to Monodendri, where the hike to Vikos Gorge (and other hikes) starts from. It’s very clean and the owner, Petros, is very welcoming and exceptionally accommodating. His daughter Sofia, helps with the management of the guesthouse and is truly amazing, assisting with all my queries. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you for the special memories I take home

Check in was easy. Messaged the host and a minute later she arrived to let us in. I had previously seen reviews about the lack of kettle and refrigerater, plus the fact that it is not specified in the accommodation facilities. However, there is a communal fridge and kettle to use. No mugs are provided nor coffee and tea bags. This was no issue for me as I brought my own. Views are beautiful, as is the property itself. Multiple seating areas outside to enjoy the surroundings. There's extra seat cushions available, which is a nice touch. Inside is clean. Private bathroom is spacious enough and everything seems to work well. Room is of a good size. No issues with the bedding, firm mattress, pillows that fit the entire width of the bed and are soft/good height. Wifi works great. It's quick and stays connected. The owner made us a beautiful homemade pastry dish for lunch which was delicious. Downside is no fan or air-conditioning. I stayed in early September though and it wasn't too hot. The accommodation seems to stay quite cool. There are heaters for the winter. Best accommodation I have stayed in Northern Greece.

The location was excellent, the village of Vitsa is one of the most beautiful villages…the guesthouse is very traditional and the room was spacious and spotless! Mr Petros, the owner, was really helpful and he devoted a lot of his time to making suggestions on the best places to visit and which is the best way to see something! There’s also a parking lot which is very convenient!

Firstly, the host, Petros, was really affable and kind. He showed me around the property and explained clearly. Secondly, the house itself is a gem. The view is breathtaking. It was squeaky clean.

“The most perfect place in Vitsa”

Zelinia is the perfect place to stay when you come to the Vikos Gorge and its surroundings. Beautiful views, excellent, friendly welcome, our host is the most perfect host we have ever met. :) Yes, no kitchen, shared fridge, but trust me, we didn't miss it. We drove to Monodendri in the mornings (about 5 minutes) for coffee. As we knew the area, we shopped at the supermarket in Asfaka before arriving at the accomodation, so we could always have breakfast - as we had read the description on Booking, we took plates and cutlery with us. We were on the road all day and it was always nice to arrive at the accomodation. One of us had a cold from the car air conditioning one day and our host turned on the heating at our request during the night without a word and brought tea - we are very grateful for this, we have never had such kindness on our travels. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Cozy room that had everything we needed. No more no less. The staff was very nice and helpful. Quite place with very comfortable beds. Perfect location to explore Zagoroxwria.

Our stay at Zelinia traditional house in Vitsa was a delightful experience. The house's charming and traditional decor added to its appeal. Nestled in a quiet and private area, the views from the garden and balcony were simply breathtaking. We were grateful for the availability of hot water and the proximity of tavernas within walking distance. The owner was extremely helpful, providing us with local recommendations, including arranging a taxi for our return from Vikos Gorge. The parking space for two cars was convenient. While the bathroom was functional, it was a bit small. It's worth noting that the Vikos Gorge trail can also be started from Vitsa, although it may add 1-2 hours to the hike. Overall, our two-night stay was a memorable one.

Welcoming traditional house, warm and spacious rooms with amazing views, close to great restaurants, perfect location for exploring the wider area by car. Really appreciated the owner’s understanding and assistance for changing plans, due to cancelled flight.
