“Step back in time”
Visiting this hotel felt like stepping back in time. Wooden beams, low ceilings, stone flags and cobbled courtyards make this a very interesting hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bear in mind that very little English, if any, is spoken in this region, so you will need to know a few words of Spanish or be adept at sign language. The evening meal was limited but very tasty and the breakfast was excellent. We would definitely visit again if in the area. The car park is private and secure.

We spent one night at Hotel Palacio de Elorriaga in Vitoria-Gasteiz and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, full of character and calm elegance, and the location is perfect for a peaceful yet convenient visit. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel truly cared for from the moment we arrived. Dinner was absolutely amazing, and breakfast the next morning was just as impressive—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. A special mention goes to the pumpkin cake: I have never tasted anything like it before, and it was unforgettable. Everything exceeded our expectations. A solid 10 out of 10, and we would happily return.

“Excellent quiet period hotel with comfortable cosy room.”
Huge warm room with a huge comfortable bed. Safe parking, and an Asador across the road. It is a period building so we could hear the rain during the storms but this adds to the experience. Lovely helpful staff.

“Stylish Hotel on outskirts of town”
Plenty of safe parking in the gated courtyard. Wonderful old building with exposed beams etc yet in perfect shape. Lovely rooms, staff super helpful and friendly, great breakfast buffet.
