Hotel Dato is an ornately decorated hotel located 300 metres from Vitoria train station in the heart of the Basque Country. It offers free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. “A very quirky hotel, the decor is stunning in its quirkiness. It's very cheap, very central so no cu”
Location was great, our room was very small but the price reflected that. Bathroom door not private. No breakfast available but good breakfast in bar/cafe across from hotel. Street pedestrianised

“Excellent and characterful hotel”
Large room with balcony as requested. Really appreciated that. The cleaning of the room each day was immaculate. Situation is perfect: central but quiet. Excellent cafes nearby.

“Great location & lovely clean rooms, but you really could just stay to experience the hallways.”
The hallways and stairs were filled with incredible art deco art, which made for an intriguing introduction. The room itself was much plainer but perfectly clean and comfortable.

Staff was super helpful and accommodating. They even allowed earlier check-in for me. Whenever I needed to book a taxi ride, they were there to assist. There was a bit of misunderstanding when my husband arrived to check in on another night, but it was resolved.

Perfect location 5 min walk from he old town (well, depends on a walker). clean and comfortable. Calm (at least the rooms we had, which looks to the patio. All the desired facilities were available. Friendly staff. Nearby parking with a daily discount for hotel guests.
