“Lovely setting, amazing hosts - brilliant food - very relaxing!”

Maxi and his wife are amazing hosts (so helpful on WhatsApp dealing with a late arrival due to late plane. We arrived around 2330 and, after conversations as we left the airport, they had kept food from their evening BBQ and served it in our room - what a brilliant welcome - especially the superb salad, meat and carafe of excellent red!! Maxi is an amazing chef - the dinner food on second night was superb - a tasting menu with wine pairing -and topped off by a special acoustic guitar performance from Maxi just for us. Location very peaceful - in the middle of farms and with horses roaming around the garden! The pool setting is beautiful with the hills as a backdrop - lots of birdlife! It all has a rural feel which was perfect for us!

“A wonderful place to stay to experience the beauty of the Valle de Uco.”

We had a wonderful stay at Finca la Valletana in the heart of the Valle de Uco. The peaceful setting and stunning views of the mountains, together with the amazing Erica and Maxi, make this a very special place to stay. There are currently only two chalets, with gorgeous views, so you feel as though you really have the place to yourself. It is very much a family-run place, with great personal service. We had an absolutely delicious four-course meal with local wines. Maxi is a great cook and his passion is recreating traditional dishes to a very high standard. There are horses and they have just build a swimming pool too for the warmer weather. Erica is an artist and the walls are decorated with her art; Maxi is an excellent musician, not only treating us to a couple of songs but recommending a traditional music event to us where we went to see him play with his band. We were the only tourists there! All in all, this was a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

“A unique experience in the countryside”

The host couple are very nice. We managed to overcome the language barrier as my son speaks Portuguese. The most memorable part of the visit was the excellent 4 course dinner with 4 different wines that the hosts prepared for us followed by singing by the our cook Maxi! Thanks for this unique experience. The hosts also arranged for an excellent wine tasting. There are many win yards nearby.
