Honestly - everything was perfect. The location is wonderful, easily accessible and super calm. The hosts are so friendly, helpful and available. Cleanliness was 10/10. Everything you need for a perfect stay is right there, whether it is AC, wifi (very good one, I had to work and join calls and it was perfect), kitchen supplies, bedding. The terrace is super nice and comfortable. Communication prior to arrival is good and easy. And value for money is amazing. You're close to the village and also close to Godinje Beach which is super nice. Really nothing negative to say, everything was perfect.

“Perfect!”

Delicious breakfast made from veggies from their garden and local products. Beautiful view from the spacious terrace. Very nice hosts, taking great care of their guests. Nice and clean apartment with fully equipped kitchen, airco, nice toiletries (you can see that owners care about every detail). Located close to the lake.

One of the best experiences we’ve had in Montenegro. Amazing location with great views, incredibly welcoming hosts, fantastic lunches and breakfast: farm food, home-made, traditional, yummy , including home-made wine, juices & jams. Super cosy & authentic apartment, clean & neat, nicely decorated with a collection of ancient interior inside to observe. 10 out of 10. highly recommended

Djuro and his family were so wonderfully friendly and hospitable towards us. We learnt about the history of the location and had a tour around all their home grown fruit & vegetables. Godinje is a very pretty little village and we absolutely loved the local surrounding areas too. The apartment was super clean and had a nice large balcony, perfect for watching the sun sets over the spectacular views with a glass of wine or beer! The breakfast was delicious and made using all their homegrown food. We will definitely stay again!

Godinje is a wonderful place, like a fairy tale town next to the lake. The views filled us with joy. The house was beautiful and super comfortable. Our hosts were really nice with us and the dinner they prepared to us was amazing. Real tasty Montenegrin food accompanied by an interesting chat about the culture and history of the area.

“A holiday nightmare: being kicked out a day early and given just 1 hour to leave.”

After a shocking morning message telling us to leave by 12:30, a day earlier than agreed, we realized this place was only about money. It wasn't homey anyway. The rooms were neat and tidy at first glance, but the atmosphere felt artificial. The location is remote, the terrace and rooms had biting ants, and the Viber conversation shows the host evicting us, likely for a higher-paying guest. Later, the host tried to excuse this by saying his wife gave the room to old guests… but no host should act this way.

Very friendly and helpful owners that helped us so much. So many cats! Cared for by the owners and very cute. Very comfortable, clean room. Overall great apartment. We also got the option to choose to have dinner/ breakfast, these where both delicious meals and well worth the money. Would be happy to stay again!

This guesthouse is a hidden gem! Best stay we have had in Montenegro. The house, rooms and view on the lake are in real life even better than on the photos. The host and his family are very kind, rooms are super clean and they also serve breakfast, lunch or dinner with amazing food, all homemade from their garden. We would definetely come back!

“Lovely host, a real authentic Montenegrin experience in beautiful surrounding”

Djuro is a really friendly and helpful host! He welcomed us warmly and explained us many things about the region and we had interesting talks about Montenegro‘s culture, history etc. His mom will cook for you and it‘s delicious traditional food! They grow their own vegetable in the beautiful garden which you can use to relax and the view on the lake is fantastic. Staying in Godinje is a plus as it‘s an interesting village and calm and in the middle of nature! Djuro also cares nicely for the cats around the house. :) If you don‘t like cats it‘s no problem, they don‘t bother you.

Our hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable. The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony! Delicious breakfast with many homemade products especially their quince liquor. Very welcoming of our dog. Well worth the trip off the beaten track.

This place is marvellous: very quiet, very clean, a big balcony with a good view of the lake... The best is the home prepared breakfast and dinner. All the food is organic and vegetables come from the own garden. The whole family was very kind to us and we had perfect 3 days in this perfect location!

Great location: House Dunja is close enough to Virpazar (3km), thus main road to Podgorica or seaside; in the same time it is close to the beautiful beach Pješačac. Morning sun on the terrace and maginificent view of the lake are also pluses :) Hosts are hospitable and informative (ask Mr Đuro about Nikač guvno!), appartment super clean, comfortable, well equipped. So yeah we can highly recommend this house!

Incredible stay. View of the lake, nice modern decor, good fly nets on all windows and doors, great air conditioning. Very quiet and peaceful area. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend eating at least dinner at the property, it was a 3 course meal with multiple dishes and heaps of wine refills! Most of the produce was grown and made on the property. Delish.

Amazing apartment in a small village with a beautiful view of lake Skadar. The hosts were very welcoming and prepared a delicious dinner and breakfast using local and homegrown ingredients. Excellent value for money and I highly recommend this accommodation.

What a wonderful experience. We were very comfortable and felt very well looked after.. Beautiful food cooked on site with home produced ingredients. Great views, lots of history and very comfortable beds and apartment. Lots to recommend.
