We travel very frequently, but we have rarely experienced such hospitality. Marco showed us the beautiful places in the region with great enthusiasm. Our stay was absolutely unforgettable. The accommodation is truly beautiful, with a stunning view that makes every moment special. The host was the kindest we have ever met, always helpful and full of great tips that made our trip even better. A real highlight was the wonderful private boat tour – such a unique and memorable experience. The homemade breakfast was delicious and served in an amazing setting, which made it even more enjoyable. We can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special and unforgettable stay.

“Great stay”

Lovely property set in a small vineyard with superb views, great breakfast and the excellent host Marko. Marko's early morning boat trip is not to be missed (before the hordes descend on Virzapar) and it was good to have a chance to try his wines. The use of of two good bikes was a bonus. Can't recommend highly enough.

“Stay at lovely Prevalis Cottage”

The host Marko was very helpful. He's a real people person, enjoying interacting with his guests and trying to make their stay as memorable as possible. We went on one of his boat trips on lake Skadar which was most enjoyable. He also invited us into his little winery where we tasted his own very nice wine. The view from the cottage is superb. Highly recommended.

“Panoramic Vista's in a wonderful quiet location”

Beautiful studio overlooking a vineyard which is 500 years old. The studio has all needed facilities and a lovely sheltered patio where you can sit and enjoy a panoramic view whilst sampling the local vino. Highly recommended

“A lovely stay in Prevails nature”

Marko is a wonderful host who made us feel very much at home in his beautifully appointed apartment. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and comfortable, with exceptional views from the balcony over the mountains. We enjoyed a wine tasting with him and were very impressed by the quality of his red wine.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The apartment is great. It's serene in the wineyard, the sunset from the balcony is beautiful, the interior is very tasteful and it was very clean. Marko is an amazing host. He gave us many recommendations for the region according to our preferences. His boat tour and the wine tasting were really good. The breakfast was also very tasty, and vegetarian/vegan food was no problem. He truely cares for his guests.

Marko is the host you want to have when you arrive to this special place. He built the home by himself and you can see his dedication in every small detail. He care about the guests as much about the house and definitely gives you a Welcome feeling. Needles to say the house is warm, cozy and well decorated. Highly recommended, would definitely want to come again!

The stay was great. Marko is such a great host, always available and willing to help. We enjoyed a bike ride around the area after arriving and also Marko gave us some great tips for our next stop in Podgorica. Totally recommeded!

“Exceptional”

Prevalis Nature Cottage is such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay in Virpazar and Marko is a fantastic host. We stayed in the ground floor apartment and could easily just spend all day there relaxing on the sun loungers in the lovely garden and taking in the beautiful view. The apartment is beautifully designed and comfortable and we loved waking up to the view of the mountains from the bed. Marko was a very helpful host and really friendly and interesting guy. He helped us with advice about where to go and even drove us to a lovely beach along the lakeside as we didn't have a car. We very much enjoyed the dinner we had in the garden of fresh carp, it was a real feast and Marko's wine from his small vineyard was excellent. We were able to borrow bikes for free and enjoyed cycling into the village (which is also an easy walk). The highlight of our trip was the early morning boat trip on the lake with Marko, absolutely beautiful and so quiet before all the other tour boats start their day. It's an absolute must do if you stay! We very much hope to return sometime.

It's amazing. At the end of our trip through Montenegro, we spent three days at the Prevalis Nature Cottage– and, as Marko would say, it was the icing on the cake. The house is set in his lovely vineyard with a natural spring, fruits, vegetables growing and even wild turtles. Beautiful spacious room, great thoughtful interior design, large balcony with majestic view over the mountains and electric sunroof, hammocks in the vineyard, you name it, it’s there. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Markos hospitality and the way he took care of us. He gave us directions for our best hikes in Montenegro and took us on a wonderful boat ride on the lake. His mother prepared a delicious fish dinner for us, and we enjoyed his rich, dark wine. Further he helped with telephone calls, free bikes, hospitality and what not - just thank you. Marko – and the breathtaking landscapes of the Skadar Lake area – will definitely bring us back to Crna Gora next year.

We stayed at Prevails Nature House for one night as a couple and had a truly special experience. Marko welcomed us warmly, gave us a tour, and shared stories about his family winery and the area. The house is thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail — everything is new, the handmade wooden furniture is beautiful, and the terrace is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. You can feel that the space was created with love. Marko also took us on a boat trip across Skadar Lake, which was absolutely stunning. He knows so much about the local nature and Montenegro’s history — it made the experience even more meaningful. Marko is someone you can really trust for honest and helpful travel recommendations. We loved every part of our stay and highly recommend this place.

“Perfect peaceful escape & perfect host”

Marco was the perfect host - we stayed in his accommodation for 2 nights and loved it. He kindly picked us up from the bus station (and also then dropped us there when we were leaving).. he also gave us some of his own wine and showed us his winery. Marco gave us useful information about Virpazar and allowed us to use his 2 bicycles. The accommodation itself was very spacious, very clean and had amazing views. We visited Kotor, Budva, Virapazar and Sveti Stefan on our trip and this was by far our favourite accommodation.

“I'd rate it 11/10 if I could, truly loved our experience staying there”

The cottage was fantastic with amazing views right from the bed. The location is ideal for heading into Virpazar and secluded enough atop the vineyard to be incredibly relaxing. Marko was exceptional and literally nothing was too much effort. The evening boat tour of Lake Skadar was very special and an experience we will always remember. His recommendations for exploring the area were perfect. Thank you very much Marko

“Amazing place”

Everything! We travel a lot but we never had such a kind and enthusiastic host as Marko. He knows a lot about the region and took us with really nice private boot tour on the lake. The house itself is also great and really clean. Our daughter was also the biggest fan of Marko. We could recommend this place to everyone who loves nature. We will definitely be back again one day!

“Wonderful lodging with a sensational host!”

The apartments were very private with terrace or balcony, and very comfortable and clean. But what made our stay here exceptional was Marko, the best host ever! He is knowledgeable and passionate about the area, and really cares that you have a good time. We took a wonderful 3 hour boat trip with him on Lake Skadar, and I’m quite sure that he offered a better experience than any of the other tour operators. He also gave us tips for hikes and day trips. We loved him! He’s reason alone to stay at Prevalis over anywhere else.
