“Great value for money”

Excellent location in Virpazar, only a minute or two walk from the restaurants and departure point for boat trips on the lake. Parking space available but access slightly narrow, so should not expect to part a large vehicle. The hosts were very kind and made us an excellent breakfast! Great base from which to explore Lake Skadar.

Very friendly hosts who make you feel like at home. The breakfast and dinner was very tasty and can be recommended. It was also great to make a early morning boat trip with the son. There's free homemade drinks to enjoy as well, have a grappa!

“Friendly Traditional Home Stay”

Really friendly and generous hosts, comfortable traditional (no frills) apartment. We went for the 'all inclusive' option of dinner, breakfast and boat trip. (Meals and boat trip can be purchased as extras on booking). The early morning boat trip skippered by their so was magical, we only boat on the lake! Great scenery and good array of birds. The dinner and breakfast were home cooked and local, with generous portions of grappa and wine and a view of the lake.

“Came as Guests, Left as Family”

We booked an apartment, but what we actually got was a full Montenegrin family experience. Sneža and Vesko don’t just host—they upgrade your life. Feeling tired? They’ll fix it. Hungry? Solved. Missing home? You won’t anymore. And then there’s Luka—the legend, the myth, the Lord of Skadar Lake. His sunrise boat tour at 6 AM is something between a dream and a movie scene (with you as the main character, slightly sleepy but happy). The apartment is clean, cozy, and dangerously comfortable—you may not want to leave. Warning: you might arrive as a tourist and leave emotionally attached.

They were incredibly helpful. They offered us all kinds of help with any doubts we had. Additionally, we arranged the boat trip on the lake and the breakfast, and both things were incredible. Also, the house was very pleasant, everything was really nice, and it had all the things you needed to spend a few days. I truly recommend it!

Staying here was amazing, the owners are so friendly and nice. They provided me with all the information I needed including local tips that don’t appear online. They even made me a traditional Montenegrin breakfast the day I was leaving.

We had a very pleasant stay there. The apartment was clean and comfortable. It's possible to order dinner and breakfast. We used this option, and I can say that it was the best food we had in Montenegro. The hosts are very hospitable and kind. We felt at home.

Where to start! I can assure you will have a wonderful time when you stay here. You are treated like family and it feels like home. The room was brilliant and the outside space to relax is beautiful. I highly recommend the morning boat tour with Luka and dinner/breakfast which is out of this world. I couldn’t recommend enough

“Perfect for our stay on Lake Skadar.”

The apartment was very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows, great hot water etc. But our most favourite part was the Hospitality shown to us by our Hosts Sneza and Vesko! They were absolutely fabulous! Greeting us with grappa, coffee and homemade Montenegrin doughnuts! Make sure you have dinner prepared by Sneza…it was one of the most delicious meals we’ve had in Montenegro! Also make sure you go on an early morning boat trip on the lake with their son Luka - he was a fantastic captain, with so much knowledge to share. The boat trip was such a calming and relaxing start to our day. We cannot Thank Sneza, Vesko and Luka enough for their kindness and generosity. We would definitely stay here again! Hvala!

The location and the kindness of the owner. They offer a huge and delicious dinner (15€/person) that is totally worth It. The lake is amazing.

Perfectly located, and clean appartment, the owner was lovely, we recommend you having breakfast and diner as well of 2h boat tour with the owner's son Luka , we really spent wonderfull time

The apartment is spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake, but that is not what makes this the best stay in virpazar. The hosts are absolutely lovely people. The breakfast was perfect with fresh fruits as well. Their son Luka brought us with a (cheap) private tour to the lake for the best views and birds. And lets not forget the cat shandor ofcourse ;).
