Bato is very friendly, good location, cozy village. All good! :)

“Bato AND Brilliance”

Bato! Our host, owner and chef was absolutely incredible. Bato welcomed us in, made us feel at home and cooked us the best meal we had, on our three month trip through Europe.

“Disappointing, do not recommend”

We were looking forward to stay at this place due to great reviews. It was our last night in Montenegro and we wanted to enjoy some local wine or food as it was advertised.

Bato was fanatic! Extremely accommodating and very good cook. Make sure you eat at least one meal here and try the wine.

Amazing stay, Bato went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. Was such a lovely atmosphere with the other guests. Also very grateful for local advice and tips! Would recommend to anyone!

Great location, Bato is extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms were just what we needed and you can organise dinner/ wine if you like.

Very helpful and kind host. Best food in Montenegro (large and varied portions) Nice garden. Very beautiful beach nearby (by car). I missed the boat trip because the wind- need to come back:) Thanks a lot!

“Wonderful stay in a beautiful location”

This accommodation is fantastic. Bato is a very kind and attentive host. He speaks English fluently and makes sure everything is just right. Besides the clean and spacious rooms, there’s also a culinary highlight. Bato makes his own wine, and it’s delicious. He prepares breakfast and dinner using vegetables from his own organic garden and fish he catches in the lake that morning. He was also willing to take me on a birdwatching tour by his own boat on Lake Skadar early in the morning to spot pelicans, and we succeeded. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely come back!

Friendly host, cute courtyard, nice homemade wine, spacious room. Very calm area.

Bato cooked very nice dinner for us from handpicked fish The place has a chill out vibe in a peacfull location, where there is allways a Rakia bottle on the garden table if you want to purchase :) Beach nearby is cool. Many winery nearby cool to.

Guesthouse Bato is just steps away from the popular Virpazar. Host Bato is a jovial fellow who wants to please his guests. In the evening he prepared a delicious dinner for us and served homemade wine. We had a great night!

The owner cooked good food and the wine was good. The bedroom was a suitable size and the whole apartment was clean.

Couldn't arrive but the host was very understanding

Bato is a very kind man who will fix everything for you if you ask. Great cook aswell. We had an amazing dinner with fresh fish and vegetables from the garden. The guesthouse is amazing value for money. Bato's mother lives in the house and is also very kind.

Bato was very welcoming and helpful. The house was comfortable and the food delicious. Highly recommend the breakfast fritters! No lake view but it was easy to get to the beach and Virpazar. The lake is incredibly beautiful.

We had a very good stay. Owner is very nice and makes an amazing dinner. Try the wine as well, its very good! Would recommend!!

“Great value for money in a beautiful lakeside”

First of all — the owner is great. Super chatty and helpful too (he helped us arrange some kayaks for the same day — we were on the kayak 20 minutes later). We would return there just for him. The facilities were nice, although the internet was a bit slow. The surrounding area is so pretty though that you shouldn’t need to spend too much time online ;) The breakfast was cheap and super tasty. We have zero complaints. Would definitely recommend to stay for a night or two.

The location is excellent in the village of Godinje. We should have stayed there for more than one day. Bato is very helpful as he arranged for taxi and boat tour, etc. He also cooked up a quick platter for us even though it was very late in the night and we were hungry. There are cute kittens that we played with.
