“Authentic montenegrin farm stay with incredible host. Such beautiful experience ❤️”

We had such a wonderful stay at this place not far from Virpazar. From the moment we arrived, the host family made us feel like we were visiting relatives rather than staying at a bed n breakfast. Marco, their son, speaks very good English and helped us communicate easily (he is normally there in weekend) while Mira and George made such a genuine effort using a translator app, which we truly appreciated. All of them were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming throughout our entire stay. Even though we only stayed for one night, it was an unforgettable experience. They showed us around their small farm and shared so much about their work, including their award-winning wine and homemade products like jams and liquors. It felt very authentic and special. We also had dinner prepared by Mira, and it was absolutely delicious yet simple fish fresh from the lake n veg from her garden. The home itself is a simple, traditional country cottage, with comfortable bed, hot shower surrounded by beautiful mountains. If I could give more than 100%, I absolutely would. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine experience. Thank u so much again ❤️

It's a great place to accommodate, rest, and travel between lake and sea shore. Big rooms with good air conditioning. Hosts - Mira, Giorgio + son Marko - are fantastic and helpful people, so you don't need to worry about anything. They also have an exceptional winery and plenty of other tasty home made organic products. So you can also buy them and bring some healthy products home. 100% recommend.

“Simply in love with the views”

The drive was not the easiest but well worth it! It has been the most authentic stay we had on our trip to the Montenegro. The hosts were absolutely amazing. The most friendly and kind people we have met on our journeys here. Very proud of their home and their vineyard. The place was just what we wanted. Amazing views, delicious home made food and most amazing wines, liqueurs and rakija. The place had everything you might need especially if you are looking for solitude and peaceful countryside atmosphere. Plenty of hiking trials nearby. It was a very much a homely feeling staying there even for one night the hosts made us feel very welcomed. We wish we could have stayed longer. Till the next time!

Very nice host serving the best meals we had in Montenegro. Hosts also produce their own wine which is delicious and can be purchased at the property

Run by a lovely pensionist couple. The husband makes his own wine and Rakia and the wife makes sure that you won't leave the premises less than well-fed. The food is delicious. We don't speak any Serbian and the couple is not very fluent in English so unfortunately we missed out on some descriptions of the food and Rakia, but with a little help from Google Translate and mimcs this was not an issue. Would definetly visit Etno House Mira again.

“Perfect spot to explore the lake and the beaches at the Mediterranean”

The hosts were great and interested to get us to know a bit. For one night we ordered dinner there, which was really delicious. We also got a tour around their property and quite some tomatoes right from their garden. Seeing turtles was a nice bonus as well!

I agree with one of the previous reviews: the greatest asset of this place is its family. These are really wonderful people who are kind, approachable, and always there for you! Mira's (hostess name) cooking was magnificent: tasty, home-made, yet simple—it really felt like visiting a grandma. We really enjoyed the farm and wilderness around it (especially our 3-year-old), for example, you can get spring water directly from mountains, and on the farm you can also enjoy some crops as well as wine / spirit tasting. Last but not least, it is really a nature out there, so it is quiet and peaceful. Our room was spotless clean and it felt like time travel, as the room is quite vintage yet comfy and well-equipped. Nearby there are opportunities for hiking and wandering, and the famous Skadar lake is also not far. Definitely recommended!

Everything. It was an amazing experience to stay at this place. There are so many Stars at night. And turtles running over the fields. It is definetly one of the most beautifullest places. Also Mira and her husband were so nice they gave us delicous wine, juice and food and treat us like family. And there are springs.. so you don't need to buy water. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much.

The hosts were so, kind, helpful and generous. We had marvellous food and drinks while we were there. Would definitely recommend staying here for a taste of Montenegro!

“Feel at home away from home”

Most hospitable hosts I have ever had. A very warm welcome which became one of my fondest memories of Montenegro. They do everything to make you feel at home. It is so refreshing to be out there, surrounded by nature and fresh air, and Mirjana's amazing cooking which all comes from her gardens. I will definitely be returning and I highly recommend spending some time here.
