Everything is great, very clean facilities. 2nd time we came here and we recommend it to anybody in need of nature.

A very welcoming and helpful family running this beautiful place, amazing suggestions about things to do in the area, warm people, relaxing camping with lots of outdoor activities for the kids(pool,playground). Very good traditional breakfast and rabbits running around! Will definitely visit again in the future!

Our flight was delayed and we arrived very late in the night. The owners kindly set our tents up and sent us a picture to get to them on our arrival. All the family was very friendly and facilities were clean all the time

We stayed in a tent for two people which was very comfortable. The experience of staying in such an isolated place was amazing in itself. The breakfast was incredible. There is a river nearby with clean, freezing water, which was a blessing. The hosts (a family) themselves are perhaps the best thing about this beautiful place: they were lovely, extremely friendly, always trying to help. The host even drove us all the way to the bus station in Podgorice as his daughter had an appointment at the dentist's. Thought this went beyond what most hosts are willing to do. Would gladly stay there again.

Wonderful place in tranquil settings, the hosts are very friendly and helpful, hiking routes in the area are beautiful. The tents were comfortable and we were surrounded by delicious fig trees.

“1 in a million”

every now and then life throws you a small gem which is completely unique. Camp Podkraj is one of those gems. the place has its own communal space which I have never seen on a campsite before. the sheltered garden area provides the ability for guests to mix and share travel stories while enjoying some of Nina’s amazing cooking and a cool drink. Nina and her family are unbelievably accommodating and made me feel like I was a part of the family from the moment I arrived. her husband (sorry brat I’m so bad with names and just called you brat the whole time!) is a lovely guy and spent so much of his time helping other campers it’s unreal. I really cannot recommend this place enough, if you are visiting Virpazar it is definitely somewhere you should visit. the location is serene and there is even a local natural swimming pool in the river. I will 100% be visiting again. love guys I really appreciate everything and hope you are all well ❤️

Very nice place to relax in the nature, surrounded by the mountains and owned by an adorable family. Perfect swimming spot in the river a few minutes walk from campsite. Very clean.. Lots of things for kids (trampoline, swimming pool, slide...) Dozens of rabbits will come out in the evening and it's really pleasant to see. Useful information: - if you are using maps me as a navigation system, make sure you pin the right location (there are two "camp pokraj" on the app, one of them is wrong and nowhere near the right one) - if you are coming by public transportation, bus stop in Virpazar is much better located than train station. - if you need to contact the owners prior to arrival, use WhatsApp rather than booking messages - city center is a 30mn walk but you can always find someone from the campsite driving there and ask them for a lift.

“Rare gem hidden in mountains”

Camp Podkraj is a quiet place in the mountains, surrounded with a wild nature and a lot of animals. On the camp side you can find wild turttles, rabbits, chicken, goats and a lot of insects. Amazing place with a fantastic family atmosphere and homemade food. The owners are very charming family, always friendly and ready to help. The place is very clean and childfriendly. (They have playground, and washing machine.) If you are looking for a quiet place to relax - Camp Podkraj is a right place for you. If you are looking for an adventure (boat trip, kajak, hiking etc.,) - Camp Podkraj is the rigth place to stay

Hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They provided extra blankets for us, gave us coffee and made us laugh. I would say that it did not seem great for solo travellers and would be better for groups, couples and family. we were very cold but that’s due to time of year and sleeping in a tent. the hosts let us light and fire and keep warm, which we loved. The wife is a lovely cook and we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast.
