Relaxed peaceful setting with great basic amenities and lovely balcony/terrace. Hosts were helpful, kind, informative and available if needed. Would highly recommend. We stayed here with two children (aged 6 and 4) and suited us really well for a chilled couple of nights whilst travelling around Montenegro. Comfy beds, good shower, great AC - all very important aspects for us!

Accomodation is set 10 to 15 minutes walk from the village dependent on ability. We had 2 studio apartments for 5 of us. Clean, really comfortable and great air con. Cooking facilities fine. Bathrooms clean and showers great. Loved our new friend the dog who walked with us to the village and back every day. You can book all your tours via the owners, very easy and good value. They are available on what's app for anything. Great communication.

Lovely apartment, compact, very clean, balcony, a nice 10 minute stroll from the village centre. The family running it is very nice. We liked being a little outside as Virpazar itself is very small and it was nice to stretch the legs.

I enjoyed the privacy of the place and loved playing with the owner's dog, the black lab Micho. To avoid the road noise and accidents, it's best to walk to the lake from the rear side of the property.

Great communication from owner - very happy to book any lake tours or answer any questions we had. Apartment very good value for money and had everything we needed during our stay. Very close to the train station which made it easy to get to our next location.

“Well equipped, cozy apartment.”

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well equipped even if you stay longer, you can cook. Location is a 12-15 minute walk from the touristic center but very near the train station. Bojana is prompt to reply and accommodating, helps organize trips and rentals if necessary. I would gladly recommend this place for an exploration of the lake and southern Montenegrin area.

All was just perfect! Located in a very peaceful neighborhood, just a few mins walk from the village center. Super clean, comfortable, well equipped. We were glad AC was there :)))) we also booked the nature tour on lake skandar, highly recommend!!! Thank you for your hospitality!

This accommodation is basic but clean and the host was super helpful. It's a 10-15 minute walk into Virpazar along a broken track, crossing a railway line, not for the super nervous but we had no problems. Great value for money.

“Homey, accessible and good value”

Four Countesses is more than a place to stay. The lodging seems to double up as a tour agency. Thus they offer a range of privatised and group excursions on and around Lake Skadar. I was welcomed by one of the sisters, Bojana, who demonstrated that nothing was too much trouble as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is well placed just minutes on foot from the railway station. Into town is a pleasant 10-minute walk via a footpath into the centre of Virpazar. It is from town many excursions begin. Regarding the price I can not complain. A strong Wi-Fi, kitchenette and decent level of cleanliness made this place very worthwhile. The apartments are very homey surrounded by a pretty courtyard garden.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic, so attentive and really made sure we had the best stay possible. The apartment was gorgeous and they also arranged some fantastic trips for us. They made everything so easy.

The women who run this place are lovely! The location is great, easy to acces from the trainstation and from the road as well. They know a great deal about the region and are very willing to help if you need it. You can get a boat tour on Skadar lake with them too. The contessa's mom sells great rakija, be sure to try some!
