Very welcoming, easy to communicate with before our stay and very helpful once we arrived. We did the fast boat trip with Milan early in the morning. The lake was beautiful and peaceful and Milan was very knowledgeable. The breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here and visiting lake Skadar.

“Quiet getaway”

It was clean and quiet. All the people we spoke to Anya, Milan and his mother were all super helpful. Great little place tucked away , it had everything we needed for a short lived rest .

The breakfast was nice and the host was very helpful towards us. He even waited till late night to receive us because we were late. Host even offered the skadar lake boat tour.

Milan and his family are the perfect host. The moment we arrived we felt welcome. His mom prepared a nice breakfast for us on the terrace and Milan gave us a lot up tips on what to do in virpazar. He also organized a boat trip on lake Skadar for us. We arrived without a plan but Milan and his family took perfect care of us

Awesome hosts and good quality room! A bit smaller than expected but very good value for the money. A fantastic asortment of food for breakfast delivered right to our room - was made with love and we appreciated that a lot. A heartfelt thank you to the host family for the warm and welcoming stay!

Milan and his mother were very nice and friendly, recommending lots of things to do on our road trip. Communication great. He offered a boat tour along lake Skadar (which we didn't do with him but sounded amazing). Breakfast was great. Location very beautiful with all the fruit and vegetables growing, very peaceful. Easy to find and access with a car. Clean. Close to Virzapar.

Fully recommending this place if you plan to stay at Skadar Lake. Very calm area, close to the lake and Milan can take you for an amazing boat cruise (which is a must-do in here). Milan and his mother are very friendly and helpful people, we couldn't have it better during our stay. Breakfast was big and tasty.

“A perfect stay in Virpazar”

We had an amazing stay at Apartment Milena! The apartment was clean and perfect for our needs. Milan and his mother Neina were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. They are truly ambassadors for their country! Neina prepared the most delicious feast for us for breakfast every morning and very kindly accommodated to a vegetarian diet. Milan and his girlfriend Anja were always a friendly face in town, and helped us to hire some SUPs which was a lot of fun. The sunrise boat tour with Milan was a particular highlight - we saw so many Kingfishers and learned a lot about the lake. Milan went out of his way to make sure we had a good trip, particularly since we didn't have a car. He even took the time to drop us off and pick us up from a private beach free of charge. We are extremely grateful to have met such lovely people. If anyone is coming to Virpazar, staying here is an absolute must, and the boat trip that Milan offers is well worth it!

Cozy, homely atmosphere with a clean room; very tasty homemade breakfasts and a very friendly hostess.

We had an apartment and a separate room booked. The apartment is really nice. The room was OK. There was an unpleasant smell present. Milena and family were friendly and the breakfast was very good.

“Pelican Paradise !”

This apartment was the perfect start to our trip to Montenegro, just 30 mins drive from the airport ! We couldn't have found a nicer spot, the apartment was immaculately clean with everything we needed, a lovely outdoor space and comfortable beds. The icing on the cake, was the free breakfast , delivered fresh and hot to the door - we couldn't believe how lucky we were ! What's more, for a trip of the lake, use Milena Boat Trips and yet again 10/10 for a private trip to the most beautiful and remote side of the lake, with Milan, as expert guide. You really couldn't find somewhere better to stay. Enjoy !

First of all, the hosts – so warm, hospitable, and responsive to every question we had. Neina (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly), the mother, was incredibly kind. Although she doesn’t speak English, we had no trouble communicating. Milena, the daughter, was available by phone and always happy to help. Neina's breakfasts were delicious—especially the amazing doughnut-like pastries and muffins! We requested vegetarian food, and everything was perfect. Any reasonable request was gladly accommodated (for example, preparing eggs a certain way or serving specific vegetables to suit our picky teen daughter). Milan, the son, was very friendly and patiently answered all our (many!) questions. He helped us a lot in planning our stay in the region. We took a 2-hour speedboat tour with him on Skadar Lake, and it was excellent The apartment itself is very comfortable and impeccably clean—honestly, it was the first place in all our travels where I didn’t feel the need to rewash the dishes or kitchenware. The same goes for Milan’s boat—I’ve never seen such a spotless boat. There were some issues with Wi-Fi, but Milan explained it’s a regional problem. In fact, the Wi-Fi wasn’t very stable in most of the places we stayed in Montenegro—it seems to be a country-wide issue. There are just two small things that could be improved, though they weren’t critical: It was very hot, and since the air conditioner is located in the living room, it doesn’t reach the bedrooms well. We were usually outside or didn’t use the bedrooms during the hottest part of the day, so it wasn’t a big issue—but a fan would be helpful until around 23:00, when it cools down enough to open the windows. A microwave would also be a useful addition, but we managed just fine without it. Overall – an excellent experience that makes us want to return to the region and to this apartment!
