“Bring breakfast with you and some cleaning supplies. Parking is great, so is the view and location.”

“Very basic budget hotel- Great location on the beach”
Breakfast was expected for a budget hotel, they offered cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast, English muffins, cream cheese, jam, juices, yogurt, fruit. Staff were friendly and hotel was literally right on the beach with amazing views. It was apparent that this strip of the beach are where the budget hotels are. As you walk further up the beach strip towards the streets with higher numbers ex. 25th street onwards the hotels were newer and higher end. We didn’t want to pay a lot so purposely stayed here.

“A little tired in places but great location, comfortable and great views from the balcony”
The hotel is right on the beach with easy access to the car park and every room has a balcony. The hotel is looking tired with broken flooring and only one lift working but somehow, the view from the balcony makes you forget the tiredness and you can spend many an hour watching the world go by on the boardwalk. The breakfast was pretty good but it did get quite packed at certain times but the food was plentiful with a choice of cereals, fruit, oats and a variety of muffins and breads. If we'd paid top dollar, we'd be a bit miffed but we got a good price and enjoyed our stay. If you're looking for five star luxury, you won't find it here, but if you're after a comfortable beachfront hotel with good parking at a reasonable price, you can't go far wrong with the Sandcastle 👍
