Overview
Located in the village of Tunes and 3 km from Vipiteno, Hotel Thuinerwaldele features spacious traditional rooms and a restaurant serving homemade Tyrolean and national cuisine. A free sauna and Turkish bath are provided. A buffet breakfast of yoghurt, cold cuts, and eggs is served daily. Guests can dine in the à la carte restaurant and pizzeria, which both are closed on Mondays. Thuinerwaldele’s rooms feature a mountain-view balcony, and a TV with satellite and cable channels. The bathroom includes bathrobes and slippers. Guests can relax on the sun terrace right outside the bar or in the garden. The solarium can be booked at reception. Both the Rosskopf ski lift and a ski school are 1 km from the hotel. A free bus for groups of 25 people will drop you at the ski lift.

“Recommend out of town stopover or base.”
Excellent motorcycle friendly hotel although there is plenty of parking it is on a slope at the front, it’s level at the back. I used garage at back but you have to reserve place. Excellent restaurant and good breakfast. Ideal stopover between Alps and Dolomites.

Beautiful place to stay with incredible view, just be sure to request a “valley view room” and not a car park view room. We traveled all the way from Australia to look out the back of the hotel over the car park.

“A Great Location In A Superb Setting”
A very comfortable room and also spacious. Nice room temperature for the time of year and good space for parking. Our room had a lovely view of the snow covered Dolomites A good menu for evening dinner and reasonable prices for wine considering we are in a tourist hot spot. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. All the food was of good quality. A venue we would use again.

The room and the mountain views were lovely. The hosts were great and having dinner out on the terrace was beautiful with mountain views in the background. The food was really nice and very reasonably priced.

“Good value for money hotel. Very friendly, good food and nice comfy room.”
Unexpected surprise to see there was a restaurant at the hotel, very much appreciated at the end of a long day!. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant had a lovely view serving easy food. Our room was ;large and the bed comfy. All in all a lovely place to stay.
