Both Guy and Paloma were so kind and generous, giving my partner and I rides, wonderful recommendations, and lots of time with their dog, Doris. Would recommend this spot to anyone who is interested in the area.

The occommodation owners were lovely and welcoming. They helped us to explore the local area by advising us on the best local vineyards to visit, and they were even able to arrange for us to visit brilliant local wine producer at very short notice. They really made sure we had the best time!

- The Hosts are amazing. Super friendly, really helpfull and nice to chat with. I would giv them 6 out of 5 stars if possible. - Doris (the dog) is super cute and got along with our dog easily. We even took her for a walk as well. - The location seems to be somwhere in the middle of nowehere but super beautiful and actually just 15 min from a bigger village.

“Perfect place!”

Dorys (adorable dog) and Guy warmly welcomed us for the checkin. The room is huge and has everything you need to have a pleasant stay: kitchen, private bathroom, books and even games so you can play while drinking the local wine. The space was clean and we loved the decoration. Myself, my husband and our dog would definitely come back!

Samson and the Lilo offers exactly what it says on the website and more. We stayed there for one night, but both hosts, together with their dog, welcome guests like someone they've known for a while. This energy of theirs coincides with the wonderful place where the accommodation is located. The rooms in which you stay, with certain details, give the impression that the hosts have thought of all our needs while staying with them. And our dog was welcomed with treats and happy faces. We will be back, that's for sure.

“Slovenian Wine Trip. Great Location, Pet Friendly and Comfortable Silence Rooms”

We came on a Wine Trip to discover Slovenian wines. Situated in a great location, close to several wineries (Vipava Valley) it also has quick access to various tourist spots. We did day trips (40 to 60 minutes) to Ljubljana, Montovun (Croatia), Piran, Predjama Castle… A super stylish 19th-century house, with lovely owners! They are pet-friendly and were very kind to our Giuseppe! Doris, their dog, is adorable and a great companion! They have parking at the back of the house, which is easily accessible and very convenient! There’s a kitchen in the room, which is helpful for those who need to prepare or heat up meals/breakfast! The owners left a basket in the room with fruits, eggs, wine, butter, and bread! Very kind and generous! Private bathroom with a wonderful shower, and high-quality amenities! Fascinating books to read in the room ;) Comfortable bed and a quiet place! We relaxed a lot!!!

The hosts Polona & Guy (+ Doris) were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this accomodation to anyone looking to stay in a quiet Slovenian village.

The apartment is uncredible clean and functionally very well furnished. The bath is much more bigger than it looks on the picture. The owners are really frendly and helpful. To climb to the little chapel in the hill is amaizing beautiful.

“Amazing place”

Beautiful accommodation. Ideal for relaxing away from the noisy crowd. The room also has a small kitchen where you can prepare a small meal. The hosts also prepared a small snack (also for our dog) for us upon arrival so that we wouldn't be hungry, as there is no grocery shop in the village. Overall, a very hospitable host, always ready to help if you have any questions. We felt very comfortable.

super nice hosts,friendly and helpful but offering full privacy. clean and spacious room with kitchenette, hosts even left fruit&snacks, bottle of wine and some basic groceries in the fridge. place is creatively decorated, lovely fusion of modern interior with ancient stone architecture. Excellent location in the center of beautiful scenic stone Karst village of Goče. it features a big parking space and offers use of big outside garden in the shade of old chestnut trees

Very nice rooms and welcoming hosts. We got some snacks, fruits, coffee, and tea in the rooms which were all included. One of the rooms also has a small kitchen.

“Stunning location”

We spent 3 nights at Polona & Guy's apartment in the beautiful old village of Goce. Hosts are super nice and very helpful. The room and bathroom is comfortable, stylish and well equipped. We got extra fruits and a bottle of local wine :) Would highly recommend!

Loved every minute of our stay in Goce, at Samson and the Lilo. Guy greeted us with coffee on arrival and provided some helpful tips on what to see and do. The rooms have been beautifully restored with excellent amenities. Fresh coffee, local fruit and wine was provided. An easy ride or drive to access all that the magnificent Vipava valley has to offer.

Amazing place. Room is very comfortable and stylish, and spacious. The owners are lovely people, attentive and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and I wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing place! Wonderful, helpful and generous hosts. Modern and tasteful interior combined with the old, charming house. Super clean! Perfect location among vineyards of the ancient village. Picturesque views and not far off from the freeway. Perfect not only for one night stop over, but also for a longer stay. Extra points for sweet Doris who became best friend of our dog.
