“Well-equipped first-floor apartment in lovely village hotel”

Very warm and welcoming management; nothing too much trouble. It felt like home (which is rare!) Great air-conditioning Great location near some VERY good restaurants (and the bar next door does incredible homemade ice-cream) Well-equipped kitchen with basics like salt, pepper, vinegar etc Nice balcony. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe there.

Very welcoming hosts that offered great service and realy good wines. The location is in the middle of vipava city with easy access through bike or car to the nearby wineyards.

The hosts were friendly and very kind. I was offered a refreshment when I arrived and a coffee before I left. The courtyard is beautiful with a magnificent fig tree, and the building is old and filled with character. The air con worked, there was hot water for showers, and a hairdryer. Very soft towels. The apartment is right in the centre of town and had plenty of space and honestly I could have cooked a Christmas dinner in there with all the kitchen equipment! Vipava is a small quaint town with a lovely bustling square where you can have a drink/ice cream, but it is also a convenient base to explore other places.

Very good and plenty of breakfast, You are even allowed to take some as a lunch package. Everything is nice decorated rooms/appartments are spacey

The accommodation was great, the owners are very helpful and willing, upon arrival we were welcomed with homemade liqueurs and schnapps, as well as a wine tasting. We had a large, quiet, clean apartment. The accommodation is close to the center, the possibility to go to a restaurant or cafe or bear. The apartment is in an excellent location suitable for sightseeing trips, for example Postojna Cave, Prejdam Castle, Italian Trieste or the seaside towns of Piran, Koper or Izola. We recommend the accommodation, we only point out that the apartments in the accommodation are different, some are attics, so you have to look carefully when choosing, you can see it in the pictures.

We were greeted by a very friendly lady. The guesthouse is in the middle of the center next to a small café. The furniture is old fashioned.

“Fantastic hosts in a cosy setting in central Vipava”

We loved staying at the Koren - the location is superb and our hosts were very kind and helpful. It is in the center of Vipava and right next door to a great little cafe where we enjoyed gelato, cold beers, and coffee. We also tasted - and bought - some delicious wines from Wipach (the same family that operates the guesthouse).

“1 night in Vipava”

Excellent location, central in town. Really nice building with quiet courtyard and traditional rooms. Lovely host, very welcoming and friendly. On arrival we were greeted with homemade liqueurs and schnapps. Breakfast is available at an additional cost of €10, we did not have this but enjoyed coffee with the owner on check out. We also did the wine tasting at the family shop at the front of the property. We couldn't believe this was at no additional cost, the wines were lovely and we bought a couple of bottles to take home!

Great location with a very friendly and accommodting host who gave us all a drink when we arrived, and an absolutely superb breakfast in the morning. Also really helpful in helping us sort out things like bike hire, taxis, and giving local information. Couldn't have been better, highly recommended!
