Just left Charles & Charles in Vineyard Haven, Martha’s Vineyard on our tour of the States. What an absolute gem of a place and really pleased that we booked here. Thank you to all the team there, you made us feel very welcome and went that extra mile. The location was great being only 5 minutes walk down to the SSA Terminal where the free electric island buses stop. Talking of transport grab one of the free bikes offered by Charles & Charles and explore some of island bike routes. The hotel is set in gorgeous gardens with comfortable seats where you can chill out and catch some sun. We weren’t brave enough to try the pool but we were visiting a week before the island season starts. Our suite was spotless, comfortable and reflected the Island’s nautical background perfectly in the decor. Tea and coffee was supplied and re supplied each day. We had plenty of towels, large walk in shower offering hot water always with toiletries on hand too. Little touches like fresh flowers in the kitchenette and a chilled bottle of wine probably sum up just what the standards are at this hotel. Breakfasts were just fabulous! After the first morning we were looking forward to what the next morning would bring. The breakfasts were a combination of freshly baked blueberry muffins/scones and lemon pastry with fresh juice or smoothies, nicely poached eggs on rosti or polenta cake and fresh fruit. A big shout out to Charles - thank you for the recipes, something to try when we get home.

This b&b is outstandingly beautiful! Decorated with much taste and very convenient. Charles was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. We got a bottle of Champagne at the beginning and a gorgeous breakfast each day with things like self baked banana cake or a pie. We could not sit outside in the garden because we came in December but it was also beautiful to sit inside while it was raining. We definitely recommand this special place all year round!

“Beautiful Gem in Vineyard Haven”

What a beautiful little gem in Vineyard Haven. The host Charles was very welcoming. The room was very clean and had everything you need, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The breakfast each day was different and what a breakfast! The setting by the pool started with coffee, a fruit filled smoothie and a homemade baked goods( donuts, banana loaf, scones) followed by breakfast pizza, quiche or risotto with plenty of fresh fruit/salad and more coffee , such thought and talent goes into each breakfast combination, Charles is an excellent cook. My husband has gluten free food and on low carb diet, this wasn't a problem and was accommodated perfectly by Charles, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you're visiting Martha's Vineyard 5*

The Breakfast excellent, staff excellent, quiet area, which was lovely, not too far to walk to town if you are without suitcases , Ubers are plentiful , the owner also met us when we were diverted from one port to the other due to cancellation of Hi Line ferry

It was a dream to visit Martha's Vineyard and our accommodation was booked well in advance. We were attracted by the pool and the reviews of the delicious breakfasts, which were absolutely delicious and varied each day. Although we didn't have a car we enjoyed the walk through the suburb of Vineyard Haven to our gorgeous cocoon at Charles and Charles. The New England houses and gardens were a joy to behold. After a day of sightseeing, we enjoyed a dip in the pool to rejuvenate. We maximised the local buses to cover most of the island and found the drivers friendly. All the advice we received from Charles and Charles was really appreciated. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Charles and Charles boutique hotel oozes luxury and first class personal service. The peace and quiet, coupled with the lovely decor is so easy on the mind. When you climb into bed its sumptuous and the bedding is divine, simply the best 'Mascioni' oh and it's Hermes Paris eau d'orange verte toiletries! Just when you think what more could anyone expect...wait until you see the breakfast, a delicious work of art. Thank you so much and we'll be back

The owners were fabulous, very welcoming with plenty of communication prior to arrival and suggestions on where to go and what to do while there. Breakfast was thoughtful with extra unexpected touches.

Phenomenal breakfast sitting out by the pool. Nice hike into town. Charles was extremely pleasant and hospitable and drove us into town upon leaving to catch our ferry.

Sublime stay at Charles and Charles MV. Everything was perfect from the welcome to the gift basket and Hermes toiletries to the pool and bespoke brekkie. Completely brilliant.

Our room was actually an apartment with a large bedroom, large lounge (including a comfortable bed), kitchen and bathroom. We had a small private patio area and also full use of gardens and pool. The rooms were exceptionally decorated and furnished and great care had been taken. There were treats to great us with too! Charles and Charles were both very welcoming and made us feel at home. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and unique and completely homemade by Charles.

Charles is a super host! Beautiful hotel with great design sense and garden!
