Charming, zany extrovert hostess. Very generous of spirit, kind and a natural hostess. When you enter her house you enter her world and she relishes the presence amd company of her guests. She is an excellent cook. The house is old, 16th century in parts and picturesque.

Exceptional hostess and hospitality with delicious home made food within a beautiful garden setting and an even more beautiful home. Would have liked to give a rating of 10 but on leaving found blood spots on sheeting and mattress protector. Such a shame.

“Lovely French cottage !”

Cathrine is a very welcoming and present host. We don’t speak French , so she very kindly used translator to tell us more about area and gave us some lovely recommendations. We had two rooms to our use which were very clean and spacious. There is a parking on a premises and we could securely store our bicycles in a separate barn on site. Breakfast was traditional French with some fresh jam, baguettes and croissants. We had also the opportunity to try some local cheeses as well. Thank you for a lovely and welcoming stay !!!

Catherine is an amazing host, a wonderful person to talk to and an excellent cook. The place was perfect for us, our room was spacious, the garden and the flowers were beautiful, and the cats were very friendly - our son was so happy he could spend time with them :)

“A truly local stay”

Catherine is a great host and was extremely welcoming, making us feel at home: we had our (delicious and regional) meals together and she told us all about the region's attractions. Her artistic home is filled with small treasures that she gladly shares with her guests - books, paintings, a piano, etc. - and the garden is lovely (we were able to have dinner outside). Our room was large and super comfy. The bed matress and linen were great and the baby cot provided was a great help for tired parents :) The bathroom was modern and had all comodities you could wish for. We'll surely come back and recommend to friends and family.

We had a lovely stay at this cosy B&B with my husband and our son in August. Catherine is very pleasant, attentive and kind hostess. Her house is beautifully decorated, she has good taste, and it’s located in a quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect base to explore the local attractions, close to Blois town and some famous castles. Catherine can also advise on good restaurants and boulangerie in the area. We were also able to have our own lunch in her nice garden, that was very convenient. Overall it felt like we stayed at the house of a good acquaintance and received a warm welcome. Highly recommend this place.
