Overview
Set in the countryside, Agriturismo La Gioconda is 5 minutes’ drive from Vinci and a 2-minute walk from Leonardo da Vinci house. This organic farm offers an outdoor pool with panoramic views and a furnished garden. Wine and olive oil are produced on site. Rooms at La Gioconda feature a satellite TV, fan and tiled floors. Studios and apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette. Some rooms have free Wi-Fi. Empoli is 15 km away, while Florence can be reached by car in 45 minutes. “A beautiful and relaxing environment.”
The location is superb, with sweeping views over the Tuscan countryside. Our our bedroom apartment was very spacious, with its own private outdoor seating area. The swimming pool is an excellent size, again with great views. The air-conditioning was particulary good - we found it to be quiet. You can buy locally produced wine, which we really enjoyed. The owners were very helpful and usually available if needed.

Wonderful Stay at Lorenzo’s Agriturismo We had a truly enjoyable stay at Lorenzo’s agriturismo. From the very beginning, the communication with the host was excellent—Lorenzo was quick to respond, friendly, and made us feel welcome right away. The conditions at the property were very pleasant and comfortable, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere perfect for a getaway. Lorenzo himself was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He went out of his way to assist us and made sure we had everything we needed. His warm hospitality really stood out and made our experience even more memorable!

I liked how beautiful the location is. It's serene and magical. Very peaceful. The amenities are mostly very good. The price is very good. Loved two little feline friends visisting us. Breakfast was lovely and so were the owners.

“A house with its genius loci, for people looking for a less busy place.”
The accommodation is located directly above Leonardo da Vinci's birthplace. While having breakfast under the old linden tree in front of the house, you look out over the whole valley below Vinci and of course the birthplace of this genius. It is a truly exceptional place. The hosts take nice care of the whole area. The breakfast was excellent - meat products, eggs, butter and vegetables/fruit - all of course of organic quality. The pool is excellent with above average facilities (sun loungers, seats, shades) with stunning views of the countryside. The kitchen in our apartment was superbly equipped, you will find everything you need in it. The owners are very nice and caring.

“October stay at Vinci”
We apsolutely enjoyed our stay here. Lorenzo and Eva were wonderful hosts, and the estate is beautiful. It's located in the country so it's peaceful and it has an amazing view. The atmosphere was so relaxing that my partner and I were tempted to just stay on the estate and not do our planned sightseeing... There are also 3 cats on the estate and they are so friendly and cuddly. :) We also had a lovely breakfast and could choose the time and place for it. Would love to one day come back. :)

“Highly recommend!”
The whole experience was even better than I expected. Lorenzo and Eva run a beautiful property! If you like being immersed in nature, surrounded by trees, plants, flowers, bees and butterflies, and enjoy the smell of lavendar, rosemary, and jasmine, then this is the place for you. We didn't hire a car, which was recommended, but we didn't find a lack of one a problem. There was just so much to enjoy all around us, from the incredible tuscan scenery, to walks through the olive groves, and the little town of Vinci. A very pretty pool area, and with the unusually hot weather, it was a godsend - a lovely place to swim and relax. We also really enjoyed a very substantial breakfast served every morning under the shade of the trees. As I said, if you love nature, peace and quiet, then I can't recommend La Gioconda more highly!!
