Very good and diverse breakfast, friendly staff, got a nicer room with view, balcony and kitchenette.

“Disappointing”

Sadly this was very disappointing. The room only had a window to the corridor (?!?!) so I had the curtains closed all day. In the night the curtains weren't enough to keep the light from the corridor out. The room was nothing special, one light wasn't working and the shower was leaky (the bath was flooded after a shower). The ventilation was soooo loud and I couldn't turn it of. Because there was no window to let fresh air in it smelled a bit, the ventilation wasn't even good for that. So now to the breakfast. They say they have gluten-free breakfast. And there was. But it was moldy! And it wasn't really gluten-free for people with a real allergy like coeliac disease. I vomited for 3 hours. There are no signs anywhere showing this section of food is for people with allergies so people without allergies just touched and contaminated everything. I told the woman at the reception that the bread was moldy and maybe they should put signs somewhere that this is the allergy food but for the next two days: surprise, the moldy bread was still there! Absolutely disgusting and unbelievable. I only drank coffee and ate my own food for the rest of the stay.

“Nice place for short and long stays”

Quite big hotel with many amenities (garden, gym, pool, parking, restaurant) Appartment big with bathroom and air condition, clean. Near to a supermarket, 10 min walk from main square. Breakfast included (large variety of meals).

It was nice that there was a pool and a little playground for kids. Also very practical that it was so close to Astrid Lindgrens värld.

It was walking distance to the center as well as the train station/bus station. 3 mins train ride from vimmerby station to Astrid lingren world and super convenient.

The lighting in the pool area was notably insufficient, making it quite dark and difficult to navigate. This low-light condition poses a safety risk, especially for families with children. The dimly lit environment made it challenging for parents to supervise their children.
