A perfect place to overnight before catching the ferry at Cherbourg. Wonderful , friendly, hosts. Perfectly, clean and comfortable room with all amenities. A beautiful farmhouse with an interesting history. Close to Bayeux to see the tapestry. More than ample, fresh continental breakfast. Plenty of free, secure parking. Nothing was too much trouble.😊

“Lovely stay in a rural area”

We had a lovely time at Fiona and Richard's place. We stayed here for a few nights, while exploring part of Normandy. It's easy to drive from here to Bayeux, Saint-Lo, and even Mont Saint-Michel. You do need a car, because it's in the middle of nowhere, which we loved. Very quiet, rural, and when you sit outside in the courtyard, Shadow (the cat) comes to greet you. The breakfast was plentiful, and you can use the kitchen if you want to prepare something for yourself e.g for lunch/dinner.

Beautiful location, very peaceful but easy to find. Breakfast was excellent & it was great to be able to cook our own meal in the kitchen that is available to guests.

This really is a lovely place. Peace and quiet, and excellent facilities. Such a friendly welcome. Couldn’t be better.

We stayed for one night on our way back to Cherbourg on route to the ferry. The rooms are large, clean and we'll presented with some beautiful furniture pieces and pretty artworks. The bathrooms are modern with spacious showers and there is also a very well equipped kitchen in the communal area should you wish to use it. Plenty of board games available that were more than plentiful to keep the kids entertained far beyond the duration of our stay. Fiona laid out the most beautiful breakfast the next morning. Plenty of fresh croissants, fresh orange juice, cereals, fruits, etc. etc.

“A French rural gem”

Richard and Fiona greeted us on arrival and gave us the potted history of the buildings including how they were occupied during the war. We loved the tranquility of the area and the close proximity to the Normandy beaches. The continental breakfast had plenty to choose from lovingly prepared by Fiona.
