Good breakfast where our glutten free requirements were adequately catered for. No evening meal was available as it was France on a Sunday evening although a suitable alternative was recommended. Villefranche looked to be an interesting Bastide to explore but we had not enough time to do so.

We were made so welcome!!!!!! The room was very comfortable and clean. Close to the centre of town. Easy to find. Parking opposite. Great value for money and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Thank you!!!!!!!

The location, quiet but an easy walk to the centre, the hosts were charming and welcoming, the room was very clean and comfortable and it had everything in it that you could possibly want or need. They had thought of everything. Water in the fridge, tea and coffee, even Madeleines and toothpicks. Anything that you might need for an overnight stay was supplied. The bathrobes were an added luxury. The breakfast was good, plenty of everything. We would definitely return if in the area.

The people where really polite, the room was very clean and cozy. They brought me my breakfast in the evening when I told them I had to leave very early, that’s great service.

Absolutely beautiful, quiet and exceptionally clean. Property is so pretty. Bouchra and Jacques are very welcoming. They also have very good English if you're not a French speaker but happy to also converse in French. Bouchra is also a certified massage therapist. A bonus to add to relaxing! 15mins walk from the Centre Ville and you are in countryside with birdsong and amazing views from the balcony.

On arrival we were invited to use the pool which was welcome after a hot day. Thereafter Jacques and Buchra were very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to put us at ease. Thoroughly recommended.

Breakfast was delicious and very good. Monsieur et Madame are charming and there were so many small touches in our bedroom that made this place a special place to stay. They both spoke good English and were very helpful in giving us ideas of places to visit. We had some fresh meat which they were able to keep in the Refrigerator

We enjoyed it very much. 5 minutes from centre by car. The proprietors were very kind and helpful.

Just outside the city, you’ll find instant calm at Mon Plaisir. The property overlooks the river, parking is easy and free, and your hosts are gracious and kind people who speak both English and French. Two flights of stone steps bring you to a balcony with a beautiful view of the river, where you enter your spotlessly-clean room. Jacques and Bouchra have thought of everything that the tired traveler needs: juices in the fridge, tea-making facilities, chocolates, terry-cloth robes…a comfy bed, extra pillows and blankets, wifi, TV, and a delicious buffet breakfast the next morning. It was a real pleasure to meet our hosts and we will certainly go back again.

When a house has a chain front door bell you know it's something special. This could not have been a nicer stay. Our only regret was that it was just for one night. Super hosts and super location, a teal oasis of calm. The old town is very beautiful as are the walks along the river.

Breakfast is a superb buffet style. Extensive choice , fresh breads and croissants, fresh fruits etc. Also accommodated my food allergy. Beautiful places to relax around the outside and the pool. The ‘little details’ showed considerable thought to welcome and comfort throughout.
