“Lovely, welcoming apartment in beautiful town”
This was a lovely, quirky, self contained apartment in the owner’s property. It was easy to find and Denise was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was clean, well equipped for being self-catering and the beds were very comfortable. The warm, fresh bread and pastries were a welcome addition to breakfast in addition to other goodies in the fridge. The home-grown tomatoes & grapes were a treat. I would certainly recommend Les Chambres Chouettes

We really enjoyed our stay - everything about Les Chambres Chouettes was perfect for us. The rooms were comfortable and had great views. They provided a cool haven in such hot weather! The village and choice of restaurants were within a 5 minute stroll. Denise was very helpful with her suggestions of things to do, and her amazing breakfast of fruits, cheeses, cereal, pastries, and more was great to wake up to.

“Overnight stop in Villefranche”
A friendly welcome from Denise at this charming accommodation. We had a beautiful room with 3 french windows leading to a picturesque balcony, all a short stroll from the main sites of Villefranche. Denise discretely provided a self serve breakfast of bread, pastries, ham, cheese, jam, cereal, yogurt and fruit with plentiful coffee, piping hot and ready for us. A lovely stay and we would definitely recommend this charming, friendly and clean accommodation in the most stunning of locations.

Great location for eastern Pyrenees, near a fortification constructed by Vaubon and convenient for scenic railway (Le Petit Train Jaune). Denise, the proprietor is English and very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Interesting decor in room and throughout. Well worth staying, going out of way to do so; sorry I had to move on after only one night. I slept better than I do at home.

“A gem in an amazing village”
Denise is a wonderful host who gave us some very useful local information. Les Chouettes is a charming property with lovely decorations and furniture. The breakfast is simple , great and generous. Access to a refrigerator is handy and parking wasn’t a problem. It’s an easy walk to the fantastic village with a superb restaurant. Aircon is great
