Probably the best coffee I drank in all of Bolivia was served to us for breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Such warmth is hard to beat. Thank you so much!

We were very fortunate indeed as Ivone and Freddy accepted our reservation ahead of their decision to close for a month to renovate. So we had their beautiful personal attention although it seems from reviews (and the greetings from all over the world that have been drawn by past guests and which hang in the cafeteria) that they truly appreciate their guests and treat them all like family. Ivone cooked a very tasty dinner, in the attached cafeteria, for a small price. Breakfast was simple but we enjoyed. Nice shower with hot water. Comfy and spacious double room. Very quiet. We managed with our Spanglish and Freddy speaks English too. Organised us into a taxi to the bus terminal. I am sure all will go well for them with the renovation. I am glad we stayed, albeit only one night. We were headed for Uyuni for our tour. No need to rush to Tupiza when Villazon is quite a nice border town to travel from after a rest and a hug. Keep singing Ivone! And good luck with completing your book, Freddy.

Yvonne was genuinely wonderful, made as feel at home straight away. Yvonne made us dinner and breakfast (at a small cost) and both were lovely. Perfect little place to stop on the border, would recommend!

Great little hostel with basic facilities but a nice breakfast. The people running out were fantastic.. they helped me a lot. It's only a few rooms so don't expect a crowd.

This is a very sweet little hostel. We didn't stay the night but had 8 hours to kill between crossing the border and getting an overnight bus to Sucre so we booked a room to rest and freshen up. Yvonne was so welcoming. The room and bathroom were really clean. Yvonne even cooked us a very nice meal and made us tea for a very reasonable price. Muchas Gracias!

The hosts were super nice and caring, made sure that we had everything we needed and when we wanted to buy tickets from the bus station in Argentina made sure we knew directions and what to do at the border! Nice shower as well!

Very friendly, helpful, easy going, the host changed some euros for me with 9 % better exchange rate than I got at the casa de cambrio, wifi works, room clean and comfortable bed, really very good pizza and some kind of veggi omelette
