We were not expecting much to by honest so this hostel (or hotel?) was a pleasant surprise. The pool was not dirty nor did it have a bad smell (an outside pool can never be 100% clean of insects), the top roof was nice to chill. Staff was friendly, just make sure that there is no mix up with the price they are saying and the one on booking. I think there was an honest mixup there but all was sorted out. Everyone was helpful and kind :)

Great location, Villavieja is a small village so everything is close, maximum 10 minutes walking you find everything (market, restaurant, main square, etc).

Quiet location, walkable from ferry (15 minutes), terrace for socialising and drying clothes, fan in dorm, friendly staff, indoor pool. Small lockers available (bring your own padlock).

Staff answered all my questions, and were available all night so early check out was no problem at all. Shower was lovely and cold! Trip was also organised quite well, tour guides were very friendly!

family owned and they run their own tour for tyrona, definitely worth doing the tour if you’re staying this far out from the desert
