The on-site staff were kind and genuinely tried to help when an issue occurred. Their attitude was professional and supportive. The desert environment itself is beautiful and worth seeing.

Very good to switch off as there is no WiF. You are right in the middle of the desert so it is very accessible to everything. The bathrooms are cool. Breakfast is okay but portions are not big enough to last you the whole day.

This is an experience, not just a hotel. If you want to have a long conversation with God, this is the place.

The location is gorgeous with easy access to both deserts and a private pool to relax in after a day in the heat. The staff here were one of the highlights of my whole trip! The loveliest and most welcoming people who took excellent care of me both at the hotel and on my guided tour!

“Amazing experience in the middle of the desert!”

We stayed at Mana Star Lounge Hotel and had a truly memorable time. Yes, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but it was absolutely worth it. Our little hut was super cute and cozy – it had everything we needed, and we felt comfortable from the first moment. The place even has a pool, which was a wonderful surprise in the middle of the desert! But what really made our stay unforgettable were the people. We were welcomed so, so, so warmly – it felt like staying with family. The lady there cooked us incredibly delicious meals with so much love and care. They drove us to different places so we could explore the breathtaking Tatacoa Desert. This personal touch made everything so much more special. If you’re looking for an authentic and heartwarming experience, this is the place. Thank you for everything – we’ll never forget it!

The huts were very clean and equipped with all we needed for a comfortable stay. Tatiana and her family went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, so much so that we ended up staying an extra night! We ate at the property 2 nights and the food was incredible, there was a good choice of options (especially considering we were in the middle of the desert). Breakfast was included at the property and it was really good - we especially enjoyed the hot chocolate. We enjoyed the pool and appreciated the drinks (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic) available from the bar. I would encourage everyone to stay here as I cannot fault it! John and his son took us everywhere we needed in go in the tuktuk/on the motorbike and was a very good guide when we visited the attractions. Thank you so much for an incredible experience!

The entire facilities were brand new, well taken care of and fit perfectly in the middle of the desert. The host and his wife provided amazing food, advice, a tour that was really excellent of the desert and local nature. Everything was lovely.

Me and my partner really wanted to experience the night at tatacoa and we couldnt be happier to choose Mana Star Lounge hotel ❤️ We chose extra package where they would drive us around Tatacoa including red and grey desert, palaeontological museum, restaurant. This also included pick up from Neiva and drop off to Neiva. Highly recommended if you dont have a car and want to see as much as possible! They were super professional but also knowledgeable and fun! They took amazing photos of us and were patient at all times. What is most important, they are very passionate people who really put their heart into what they do! They even managed to accomodate my vegan diet :)❤️ The property itself is beautiful and built by themselves! There is also a pool and beautiful views! Breakfast is included and delicious. Dinner can be bought and is incredible as well! This stay and tour around Tatacoa was definitely the highlight of my trip in Colombia! 😍 Hidden gem for sure!

Awesome Cabaña in the middle of nowhere. A lot of space and an incredible outdoor bathroom. The whole team was very nice and was caring about us like family. Highly recommend to stay here when in the Tatacoa desert!

The location and the staff very friendly. Since we were the only ones they upgraded us for free to a bigger room. The breakfast was simple and delicious.the staff assisted us with the tour and even directed us till the ferry.

Really quiet. Beautiful nature. Super cute dog. The piscina in the grey desert is only a forty minute walk away.

“A maNavilloso stay in Tatacoa”

This is the place you’re looking for if you want to be surrounded by stunning landscape yet feeling at home thanks to the amazing staff. We got a transportation service from Neiva and a tour where Ferney, walked us through the stunning architecture of the desert. John Camilo (and Berlin!) is the best host, very welcoming and accommodating and all the staff really. The cabin is comfortable, with everything you need and very clean. At night you can enjoy stargazing and the pool is really a plus considering the hot temperature. Highly recommend!
