“Nice hotel with a nice pool.”
A perfect stay in Villavieja to explore the desert. The room is small but has everything you need, there is a nice garden/common area and the pool is perfect after the heat from the desert. They helped me organize a tour to the desert

“Great place to stay to explore the tatacoa desert in comfort.”
Pool was great for the heat, air con was greatly appreciated in the heat and the location was just a short walk from the centre of town. Room was a good size (bathroom slightly small) but the highlight was the private tour provided by the owner's son James of the tatacoa desert (which was an additional cost). Everything was setup to make it the perfect place to stay to see the desert and surrounding area. Would recommend to anyone.

“Not a bad stay, but could be better.”
I appreciated being able to check in early when I arrived, it was not expected but it was well received. The wifi was pretty good, the place was pretty quiet and it had a pool although I was sick during my stay so didn't venture out much. Location is good for the centre, although the town is only about 1 mile in length total so even at opposite ends it would still take less then 15 mins to walk, a good base for Tatacoa desert although the weather hindered the astrophoto work thats ok, cant help the weather, the desert during the day was still awesome.

“Helpful staff”
The staff helped wonderful with the issue to get in contact with Booking com. I would never be able to reach them myself. It has cost the staff more than an hour to solve the problem, but the persistence was ever lasting. Great.

“Disappointing”
It was nice to have a pool, given the temperatures. The breakfast portions were generous but not cooked to western tastes. Very poor coffee for a country with the best in the world! Free filtered water was appreciated. Very clean.

“Excellent!”
the host Lily is soo friendly and helpful, I really appreciated that. She helped me organizing a tour to the desert with an amazing guide, I could stay one more night without problems and also the rest of the staff is really nice. the room was clean and the bed comfortable, it has AC, breakfast included and there is also a pool. I definitely recommend staying here!

It's a very clean and well maintained property. The rooms are small but have everything you need, in the communal area there are hammocks and the pool has lounge chairs.

This is a clean and decent hotel. The hostess is so friendly and helpful. She offered me coffee when I arrived early in the morning and let me store my bags for free when I was camping in the desert. The hotel is good and the hostess is excellent!

“A very lovely hotel with free breakfast and excellent service”
The lady called Lily was very helpful with everything especially with my bus request. Breakfast was delicious and my room was being cleaned everyday. The price of the tour was very fair.

It is a very nice place in this little town. The owner is so helpful and courteous! There is a big pool where you can swim and also a playground for kids! They have the best laundry service i had in colombia . And also the breakfast is very delicious.I would come again.

“Laid back hotel in Villaparaiso”
Juan Carlos (manager) was an excellent host and very attentive. Hotel was clean, light and has great bird life and cactus.
